Batum and Vonleh are both players I had hoped the Suns might target.
I know he hadn't done a great deal in the league, but I had hoped we could have picked up lamb as a young shooter on the cheap since OKC was looking to dump salary. So besides Steve Adams what the hell does OKC have left from the harden trade?!

Disappointment and Regret. I think they both play SF so have struggled for playing time behind Durant, I guess.

That Harden trade looks worse every year.

Yes. Which is a large part of why we (and Boston and Philly) are having a hard time packaging our assets for a significant player on the rise.

Does Wade leave Miami?
If Whiteside can get his anger under control and Bosh comes back healthy, they should have a big bounce back year.

Wade wants to finish his career on the Heat. He isn't going anywhere.

Why would he? They'll pay him well and give him a prominent role on the team; he gets to finish his career with one team and be taken care of after playing there; he'll be a godlike figure in the city of Miami for the rest of his life; and their roster has improved so that they'll probably be a playoff team and do some damage in the East. Why wouldn't he stay there?

I wonder if Carmelo will start to demand a trade out of New York. They need to rebuild and drafted a guy who will need years to develop and therefore won't be able to play well next to Melo. Maybe they'd listen to an offer like Morrii + 2 1st rounders + Goodwin + whatever...

You really want Melo?

I was thinking about that today actually. I'm torn. If that's all it takes then sure. Can you not say that adding Melo at the expense of the Morris twins & Goodwin makes us better?
The real problem is just the Knight & Bledsoe back court. I am firmly off the dual PG offense right now. What do we do? Who do we move? Most people say Bledsoe but I was not a fan of Knight before he got here and I thought he was awful in the games he did play. I'm not a fan of Bledsoe either. I guess we'll just see what happens. I'm trying to remain optimistic.

Melo would have to waive his no trade clause and he's not doing that to come to PHX.

Well, we can't really be worse off with Melo as we are without him. I've stop trying to build a championship roster in one offseason, as so many like to do.

I kinda always thought if melo moved on and waived the trade clause, it would be to another big 3 type situation. He has tried doing it alone and has come up very short every time. But that's assuming winning is in anyway important to him

The Spurs expect Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili to return next year, and at salaries low enough that they'll still be able to sign LaMarcus Aldridge to a big contract. The rich get richer. That'll be a fun team to watch next season if this happens.

Everyone saw this coming, Phil is no fool. He'd be wise to cash that Melo chip now before it gets any older. As soon as they drafted Porzingis, I thought for sure we'd send them Bledsoe, oh well.
