I'm sure Kansas thought the same thing this year with Embiid and Wiggins.

Idk, that could be true. I'm a big fan of Okafor and Towns, and even Alexander a bit, although he is a little small but is a beast. The guy I am not super excited about is Myles Turner. He is rated by some as the #1 prospect, but I just don't see it yet. He seems slow with his decision making and not quite polished with his moves.

The difference is that Parker was a much more assertive player than Wiggins and didn't have a post presence on the court with him. Okafor is a much more polished low post scorer than Embiid is or was.

Anything can happen in College Basketball.

Nobody in there right mind could of predicted Kentucky would turn out to be an 8 Seed. They eventually lived up to their hype over the last 3 weeks of March, but their regular season was perplexing. On paper Duke Looks like the team to beat Arizona, even without Johnson and Gordon, looks very strong as well with what they have coming back and coming in.

And then will get the obligatory article in 2015 on how disappointing that draft class is.

I keep my own counsel when it comes to the draft. I was never as down on the '13 draft as the media was and I was never as high on the '14 draft. I still love the quality and quantity of excellent prospects in the 2014 draft.

But yes, 2015 does have some very intriguing center prospects, like the aforementioned Okafor and Karl Towns.

I think would have helped just a little if Embiid hadn't gone down with an injury.

Stanley Johnson seems a little redundant with RHJ there. That may be hamper them some.

What do you, guys, think about wing crop from 2015. draft class? Stanley Johnson, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Kelly Oubre, Wayne Selden, Caris LeVert, Rashad Vaughn, Jabari Bird, Mario Hezonja... all sexy names but we shall see how they will look like next season.

I love LeVert as a college player; as a pro prospect, I'm not so sure.

I really like Selden and RHJ.

I'm disappointed as a Duke fan that Jabari Parker has decided to enter the 2014 NBA draft. As a Suns fan, I will hold my excitement as they only have the 14th pick in the lottery.

James Young coming out (not surprised)

Jordan Adams returning to school (Mildly Surprised)

James Young went to Kentucky, I'm reasonably certain we'll draft him based on that.

I just saw the most recent Draft Express mock draft. They have the Suns taking 14. Nik Stauskas 17. Kyle Anderson and 27. Zach LaVine I would be perfectly happy with that draft.

The mocks there & at NBADraft.net like to make my damn blood boil.

No. More. Guards. Archie got the squeeze-out thanks in part to having 4 other guards. Unless Green is on his way out (Ish likely is, IMO), we need to concentrate on the frontcourt.

If the bigs available aren't that good. I wish the draft was filled with frontcourt players that would fall to the Suns and be better than what they have right now. Unless the Suns jump in the lottery, this is a pretty good scenario, because these are very good players with fantastic skill sets that translate to the NBA. I get it, we need help in the front court. I agree. If the Suns draft just based on need, they are going to make a bad decision. I think they will address the front court needs through trades, free agency and player development of their own players. I would hate to see them reach for a player just because they need help on the front court.
