I was happy just to be rid of him to be honest with you.specialsauce wrote:The haul wasn’t shameful to me. Bledsoe was and continues to be overrated. I’m happy with the deal

Was a slightly underwhelming return, but I agree for the most part. We got some value for him, moved on from his drama and now we can try and find a new pgSuperbone wrote:I was happy just to be rid of him to be honest with you.specialsauce wrote:The haul wasn’t shameful to me. If McDonough even thinks about interviewing Calipari for our new head coach, he should be fired on the spot.Split T wrote:Was a slightly underwhelming return, but I agree for the most part. On the other hand, interviewing anyone would be a step up.JustWinBaby wrote:If McDonough even thinks about interviewing Calipari for our new head coach, he should be fired on the spot.
I guess he makes money for the university but I think he is the most overated coach on the planet.
He went 72-112 with the Nets! He gets a team of NBA talent every year in college and can barely put together a Sweet 16 run. He's a mediocre coach at best.JustWinBaby wrote:If McDonough even thinks about interviewing Calipari for our new head coach, he should be fired on the spot.Split T wrote:Was a slightly underwhelming return, but I agree for the most part. I think both.ShelC wrote:He was an assistant at one point. Under Porter/Gentry?

Sure but only if we're planning on bringing Goran back and drafting Donicic.Hermen wrote:I read that we're interested in Kokoskov (can't find the source, supposedly Marc Stein reported it). I wouldn't mind him. We could definitely learn a thing or two from the Jazz and he did an amazing job with Slovenian national team.
I get why some are frustrated with how limited Warren is, but his contract is too good and he does score 20 ppg, that I am not in a hurry to dump him. I hope the Suns give him the offseason to work on his game and let him know that he needs to develop his 3 point shot and progress as a rebounder.Superbone wrote:A lot of talk here about trading Warren but I just don't see it due to McD's MO. He seems to glom on to "his" players and never let go.
Yeah, he has made a mess in Orlando.specialsauce wrote:YUCK on Vogel
I agreeShelC wrote:JVG piqued my interest with his work with the national team. I think he could do a lot with a younger team, now that he's been away from things and maybe wouldn't be such an intense taskmaster.
I think Fiz is overrated, personally.
I dont agree lolShelC wrote:I'm fine with Triano for another year if he's willing to come back. We're not close to competing so overpaying for an established coach doesn't make sense. It would speed up the process, but any established coach will want to move players which may not work with McD. I'd like to see what Triano can do with a full training camp with Payton and Booker in the backcourt and (hopefully) an improved and more confident Bender in the mix.

I bet he doesnt.ShelC wrote:Assuming he wants the job...
