There's no way we pick JJJ at #1. And I doubt we'd trade down to #3-4 just to take him. Dunno why we brought him in.
They'd be fools not to bring him.
JJJ has the potential to present a combination of size, athleticism, defense, and elite shooting that NO ONE in the NBA can offer.

He did mention Porter then, but it doesn't look like Porter is getting a workout.
Porter Jr. is having a big pro day that will be open to the league. So I imagine that's when the Suns will check him out.

We need to keep other teams guessing. If you show them your hand, then they have the advantage. Just in case you want to trade down or up, the best weapon is misdirection. Also, why not do due diligence while building a scouting library. You never know what happens on draft day, and we should be prepared for any unforeseen developments.

Steps to being a professional basketball talent evaluator:
1) Decide who you like before evaluating the players.
2) Don't evaluate them.
3) There's no point.
4) Why bother?

But to be fair, if you are doing your job, you have enough info on all of these guys, and have seen them in person so much, that a single 1-0 workout, or even a full 5-5 workout, shouldn't change much.

Fair. I guess I'm just being cynical and think that they will pick Ayton or Doncic and won't trade down. But you're right that you have to do your due diligence.

That's the sleep deprivation. You're in the stage of life where "let' not do that" is the best thing anyone could suggest to you.

Heh. Yep. But you're right, that is the most likely outcome but they're doing their due diligence and I wouldn't expect any less.

Lol, maybe but really doubt it. Bucks have no 2nd round pick and picking Kostas at 17 would be fucking crazy, I don’t care if Giannis is his brother. Kostas is expected to go late 2nd round at best, many wondered if he would even be drafted at all, looks like he won’t have to worry about that anymore.

I'm not surprised. I said it before, he's going to be drafted based on pedigree alone. It would be pretty dumb not to take a chance on him in the second round.

I really wanna move down and pick up assets in this draft now, its so good up top that I dont think we can miss as long as we stick in the top 5. I like them all, even Jackson has grown on me. If you can pick up an unprotected pick from Atlanta or Memphis to move down, I think you have to do that.

You have to have a set of brass balls to move down off of Ayton. Ainge would do it but then again he has massive job security. McDonough? Doubt it seriously.

Thats only if you think Ayton is a transformational talent. If you do, absolutely do not move down, but if hes not Shaq with a J, then why not? I do think Ainge takes someone to school if he were 1st overall, but I agree with you, I think McD lives or dies with Ayton.
