I am doing my usual
Watching over the game listening to the opponent's broadcast. Don't really watch the Bucks so first time hearing them, they speaking well of Frank which is no surprise (Wisconsin)
Color commentator is Marques Johnson who I had to Google

(all star in early 80s) so
Laz would definitely know more about him than me lol
I like the insight he is giving and not being biased

Jevon
played defense every possession of the first half when we were defending the rim in front of our Bench
Credit to him still being locked in although out of rotation

Win or lose, love the balls on this team...
Never give up! Never surrender!
By grabthar's Hammer we'll grab their balls!
I don’t think that was quite it.

RIP
Reach just above the balls quickly and frequently with furor and you'll have a jackhammer.

Finally got a chance to watch the Bucks game. Is it my imagination or did Ayton develop a floater he didn't have before? Could be perfect for him.

Yea it's encouraging seeing a 7ft 260lb center with a nice floater in the lane. Perfect move for a big who plays like he's 6-2.

This could solve a LOT of problems for a center that tends to finish soft. Not so different from an unlockable sky hook.

Richaun Holmes has an almost automatic push shot/floater in the paint. It can be very useful.

Holmes is also an explosive dunker in traffic and around the rim.

Yes, but it isn't like he gets his shots blocked. He gets the ball taken away while rebounding, or snatched away while preparing to take a shot under the rim. The floater won't help with any of that.
Like others have said, he needs a drill where mark bryant plays a nun and smacks his hands with a ruler every time he brings the ball below his neck while <8 feet from the rim.

He also gets smacked when he passes back out within 8 feet of the rim. And again when he lays it in gently with defenders nearby. And when he throws errant passes late in games after getting crucial rebounds. SLOW DOWN!

We didn't talk enough (at all?) about the great defense late in the game when Crowder pulled the chair out from underneath Giannis. That was masterful and perfect timing. Little things like that win games.

The idea of being a vet who knows how to win and whose contributions go beyond the box score has become kind of cliche. But Crowder exhibited that quality in a genuine way in the Bucks game.

As we are still giving Jae his props , I forgot to post this
His comment about Monty is joking around but I am wondering if he challenged him to be more impactful on D
All of our comments about Jae play so far in games had been, Good to see him hitting his shots, he's a better passer than we thought and stuff like that but I don't quite remember a Man he was all over the court type game until last game
I might just be forgetting tho, I said early on that he had a different energy like he felt he was back in Heat v Bucks rivalry but hearing his comments just had me wondering if Monty challenged him a little bit.
Either way, good stuff

I think he was just up to the task of playing Giannis and the Bucks. He loves those moments as much as I love him. Awwwww.

Really want to see him succeed. Hope he is able to find some consistency in his shot.
