The only reason you would be against the trade from a Suns perspective is homerism.
Guilty
Me too

Disagree. How many 1st round picks are you giving them? It wasn't specified. Also, as much as we bag on him, Ayton isn't as easily replaced as what's been said here. We'd have a big hole in the middle.
We can all disagree here, but we are all homers. Like has been discussed, nobody was talking about 4 picks.

I doubt any GM in the league outside of our (and maybe not even him) would turn down this trade of Boston offered it.
Yes, I do agree that we're all homers. Well, maybe not INF. :P

 I think INF is the ultimate homer. He is ALWAYS thinking about how to make the team better, and not settling.

Jayson Tatum = Stud
For a stud, he sure loses a lot of games.
Would y’all trade Ayton, Mikal, and 1st rounders for Tatum?
How many 1sts? I think you kinda have to as long as it’s not the 4 unprotected 1sts plus pick swaps. If it’s 2 1sts, you’ve gotta do it. Love Bridges, but Tatum/Book is a special combo going forward.
Why not 4 unprotected picks?? It’s a lot but you have to give a lot to get a lot and you get quite a lot with Tatum. You’d still have 2021 because we traded our 2022 and therefore can’t be traded.

If you could swing another trade for a big man that you could get on the cheap, maybe like Jevon and couple seconds to Sac for Whiteside, then that’s quite a team right now.

Paul-Booker-Tatum-Crowder-Whiteside with Payne, Cam, Saric off the bench. That’s pretty fucking good.

Any lineup with Whiteside as the first big man is not good. Well, I guess if he was somehow starting for the Olympic team..

We can’t even trade a pick till 2027 because the pick we owe OKC has protection through 2024, so we might not move it till 2025.

Well then it Definitely would suck trading those unprotected picks but I’d still do it. A Booker and Tatum combo would absolutely be a filthy offensive juggernaut right now, Booker is only 24 and Tatum is only 22. That’s a decade of offensive dominance. Plus Paul, that’s a championship contender!

I think we already are, even tho we lost to the fucking Hornets, but a Booker and Tatum combo is just too good to pass up.

Yeah, what if... in such case, what if we jump directly to WHAT IF we get Tatum without giving up all that assets? I love “What If”, it opens up the world and imagination is the limit!!! Or WHAT IF Bridges makes “the jump” into Marion with a shot and Ayton wakes up tomorrow and become DominAyton? A Paul, Booker, Matrix Bridges and DominAyton core would rule the earth and bring world peace!!!

Seriously, of course I’m a homer, but still, even as the truth is that Ayton is falling really short on expectations, our record without him would not be so stellar, he is doing really good at his role. Although highly irregular, he is not that expendable. We are pulling off a platoon PF combo, because Ayton give us the possibility to do it, remove him and watch how we are overrun every night at the four and five. We already lack size, but do the exercise, how our defense would look like with Whiteside, Cousins or any other realistic big attainable in a trade, without a big What IF involved.

Paul, Booker, Tatum as our core, will be totally capped out and devoid of draft picks to improve a roster where the owner sooner or later would be unable or unwilling to put up with the tax to close the big holes on the front court at the 4 and 5.

FOUR picks is the opposite crazy of an Ayton-Bridges-No picks trade, but we are not the team with the highest need to do that trade, they are. One pick or two vs four seems a little difference, but it cold ruin our next decade if anything goes wrong with Paul, Booker or Tatum, anything.

That's what people have said about Booker.

Tatum has never missed the playoffs.

Well, but now we are winning more than they are, so the argument is more valid.
