Brooklyn's first round picks 2023 to 2029 -

2023 - Houston has option to swap
2024 - to Houston
2025 - Houston has option to swap
2026 - to Houston
2027 - Houston has option to swap
2028 - have own pick
2029 - have own pick

So theoretically the Suns could send 2023, 2025 and an additional pick between 2027 and 2029 or both 2027 and 2029.
They could also trade the option to swap with Brooklyn in any of the years they don't trade, although I don't see where that would be advantageous to Brooklyn unless the Suns fall apart as Paul and Durant get older.

I would think they would at least want Johnson in the deal, wouldn't they? The Suns picks (even unprotected) the next couple of years can't be considered that valuable can they?

Gambo says we might be able to get Durant without including Ayton OR Bridges! The key will be 4 picks + 3 pick swaps.

He thinks Ayton could be back AND we keep Mikal.

This is all from his conversations last night!

He even floated the possibility of keeping Cam Johnson too LOL!
He’s crazy…. They gonna take Crowder, Saric, Payne, Craig, shamet, 4 1sts and 3 swaps for KD?
From his tweets and hearing him talk I get the feeling KD is in control.
Sure he’s probably got a lot of control, but how would he have the control to pick who Phoenix trades? I’ll be very surprised if at least 2 of Ayton, Mikal, and Cam are still on our team after we trade for KD.

I’d say 25 and on should be pretty valuable

That’s too wild. No Mikal OR CAM??? Lol come, on.

I mean all our expiring and and Westbrook’s expiring is a lot of free cap for them next season. Plus from us and LA they would be getting a combined 5 1st round picks and 4 swaps. Not bad I guess. I think that’s good for them but… im a little biased :P

Are they any protections on the Nets picks they have to the rockets? Like rockets can’t swap if in top 3 or won’t go to Houston if it’s a number 1 or something.

It’s not KD deciding who we trade, it’s Jones. If KD has made it so that we’re the only team, then we have all the leverage. Also, KD may want certain players to still be on the team in order to have a better shot at a title.

Ya but at that point Brooklyn just says, nah we’re not doing that. We’ll wait until you give us a real offer.

I don’t think so, but Houston will probably bad next year, so losing next year might not be a bad idea. You won’t get the 1st pick, but you could still get top 5

Then we take KD and Simmons from the Nets for Ayton + filler?
That’s a lot of filler. KD + BS = $79.5M. If it’s possible at all, it would take everybody we have not named Paul or Booker.

If this gets done with no Mikal, Cam or Ayton, erect a statue of James Jones in downtown Phoenix. Then re-sign Ayton for like 4yrs/100? Jeremy would j*** his pants and we’d all join him.

CP3-Book-Mikal-KD-Ayton with CamJ off bench and what ever we can scrap from left over FA? That’s some 2k shit

Now there is talk of the Jazz being involved... as a third or 4th team.

Here is the clip...

Well the no CamJ thing would be the wildest “dream scenario” as Gambo calls it.

So maybe Ayton to Jazz? Gobert to Atlanta (weren't they in the hunt for him), then Collins/Huerter plus all of our picks to Brooklyn?

Or (I need to check salary)

Utah gets: Ayton, Collins, Huerter, Jae (2 picks from PHX and 1 from Atlanta?)
Atlanta gets: Gobert (I think ATL needs to send out more salary)
Brooklyn gets: Donovan and Shamet (and 2 picks from PHX, 1 from ATL)
Phoenix gets: KD

Forgot about designated max rookie. Dononvan can't go to the Nets if they have Simmons on the roster.
