Also, I don't think the track record of the Jalen Greens, Kumingas, etc. makes any straight-to-the-G-League prospect a can't-pass-on prospect. Scoot shot 42% FG and 27% from 3. That doesn't scream can't-miss, especially for a score-first PG.

I can understand the Hornets being worried about fitting Scoot with Ball. Maybe that’ll push them to Miller, but I still think they’d be picking the lesser player.

And Scoot may turn out to be better. But I don't think any team can be criticized for picking Miller over Scoot, unless the argument is based on Miller's off the court issue.

Maybe it’s my own Suns PTSD, I just don’t like passing on the best player available in favor of fit when the team is already terrible.

I think Scoot is a generational talent. I think Brandon Miller is nice too tho, has real killer instinct from what I’ve read about him.

When do we get the annual rumors that we're looking to move into the late lotto/first round? A few more hours still?

There's still time to work out Jokim Noah, Al Horford, and Corey Brewer.

I think we might actually buy a pick this time though. We do have Ishbia now

We need to at least try to move up in the second round like the Lakers just did and/or buy another second. But it would be great if a team wanted to sell a first. Where’s Mike D’Antoni when you need him?

The Lakers just paid $4M to move up 7 spots. Yeesh.

There are two ways to move up - consolidate future assets or pay cash (or both). We have no future assets so people should prepare to be disappointed.

Pacers are giving away picks and they are a poorly run franchise. Ishbia should setup shop over there.

So who we want for pick 52? Or 57? if it end up being that.

I’m all in Emoni Bates*

I bet Ishbia will at least use cash to move up from #52.

Gambo says Suns will likely either trade #52 and cash to move up or trade #52 for a player. They've already sent $3.5M to Washington in the Beal trade.

We also sent money for Jock so I don’t think we have much left to spend

Could we tell a team who we want to draft and then trade for that player on July 1 when we can spend $6M again? :P

Potentially…and we should if we can because we won’t be able to send any cash in trades next draft
