The risk is Luka losing faith in the Mavs front office. However, he's locked into his contract so it would require him to pull the James Harden routine.

That risk was already there. They are a couple of games above .500 and no clear way to get significantly better.

Exactly, and now they added the most erratic guy in the league.
It could work out, but it's a much riskier move than I think they needed to make. Very Mark Cuban.
Edit: I think it's going to look very promising this season because Kyrie is playing for a new contract. All bets are off once that next deal is signed and is when the risk comes into play.

Confirmed... Ja's requesting a trade to PHX. Should be getting a tweet from FLEX soon

I would trade CamJ, our expiring bullshit contracts, 4 1st, 3 swaps, all possible 2ds for KD. That’s max amount of picks anyone can trade. Do it Brooklyn. It works in 2k with trade override.
I would only do that trade before the deadline just to go all in for this year with CP3, etc. I ain't doing it for next season when KD is a year older with an injury history.

Hmm. Could lead to an upset CP3 if true.

What's he going to be upset about? He knows how this stuff works.

I'm sure a lot of that had to do with getting Westbrook in return and how it would be received by KD.

Agreed but you can’t tell me Tsai didn’t enjoy it a little haha

FVV, but I wouldn't go beyond the rumored deal to the Nets, and I'm not even sure I like giving up a first round pick.

I don’t think I’d be down trading Chris for FVV. Prefer to trade for him and just run a 3 guard rotation of Paul/Book/FVV, especially since there’s no guarantee that FVV won’t leave and his down year is the new normal for him.

People need to get back at the Nets for stirring up this drama. Suns owe Tsai an ass whooping. Nasty way to play. This is going to be some shit that follows him.

I know it's the times we live in
(social media age) and the reporters always trying to one up each other with breaking news
The draft is a Twitter thing more than a TV production now
This week's trade deadline gonna be crazy time online again
But this leaking what other trades were supposedly offered seems like trash smh
I get it's probably teams/ agents trying to get some kinda leverage but it's just wild to me cause it's not just Suns news, basically a report on like every single team who made an offer
I don't even know if to believe any of it

Nuggets rested Joker, Murray, Gordon and KCP
Bones Hyland still gets a DNP - Coaches Decision
Surprised it seems they have given up on him, wonder what team he ends up on
