At the minimum, Randolph, Goodwin, and Ennis seem to be the odd men out. Maybe Marcus too? That's still a lot of players to play. Our guards will be fresh as can be for 48 minutes. Goodwin and Ennis can't be too happy.

I'd have to guess the ration players would be -
C - Plumley, Len
F - Markieff, Tucker, Green, Tolliver or Warren
G - G. Dragic, Bledsoe, Thomas, Green or Goodwin
I don't see them going more than 9 or 10 deep (IF everybody is healthy)

I get the feeling Ennis and Goodwin are going to spend a lot of time in the D-League this season.

if the suns sign zoran, i dont think they will offer a QA to bledsoe anymore.
Word out of Spain is that Zoran Dragic -- Goran's younger brother -- likely lands two-year NBA deal provided final hurdles cleared this week
Phoenix Suns are leaders in pursuit of Zoran Dragic
Paul Coro, azcentral sports 4:24 p.m. MST September 21, 2014
Suns play-by-play announcer Al McCoy might have even more reason to exclaim "Oh, brother!" this season.
The Suns have become the leader in the pursuit of shooting guard Zoran Dragic, the younger brother of Suns star guard Goran Dragic. One other NBA team remains in serious pursuit but negotiations for a contract and a buyout from Dragic's Spanish club have progressed to the point that a deal could be finalized early this week.
Dragic, 25, has been talking to Phoenix about a two-year contract or a three-year deal with the third year as an option for the player or team.

I feel like we are too deep with too many mediocre end-of-the-bench guys. I like Zoran but what about our other young guards? Why did we sign Tolliver when we have so many other mediocre PFs? I just hope that we can find minutes for all of our guys and/or send them to the D league.

cut shavlik, sign ayon to a 2-yr deal too.
Ayon has signed with Real Madrid.

My rotation would be:
Guards: Bledsoe, Goran, IT3 @ 30mpg + Green ~6mpg.
SF: Tucker 20mpg / Green 14mpg / Marcus-TJ Warren 14mpg.
Archie, Ennis, Zoran and Shavlik are out of the rotation until further notice. If Tolliver doesn't give me 40%+ 3pt, he is out too and his minutes go to TJ-Marcus.

This is going to be a competitive roster. Players are going to have to earn minutes by being more productive than someone else. Good players are going to sit. If players like Archie or Ennis want any burn, they are going to have to be very, very good. It makes it hard to develop young players. I am glade Horny is the coach. He seems to think very rationally and doesnt have the bull-headedness that some previous Suns coaches have had. If any coach can handle this situation, he is the one.
There could be a deal in the works. It just has that feeling. This FO is very tight about leaks, something could come completely out of the blue.

I don't believe that Zoran and Bledsoe are tied together.

Its just about too many bodies. It smacks of some move in the works, but it might not be a Bledsoe move. It could be something else.

It's certainly odd for a team so far under the cap to have all 15 roster spots taken up with guaranteed deals. We are lacking a bit of the flexibility that McDonough and Babby seem to like. Any move we make will mean consolidating assets.

It also makes it harder to execute a Bledsoe sign and trade deal, not that that is high on their priority list.

I still don't understand guaranteeing Shavlik. Was there a line of suitors for his services? Significantly better players had to wait much longer to get minimum contracts. Why didn't we at least let his contract lapse and IF we couldn't find someone better, then we sign him to the minimum?

You don't mess around with Shavlik. You get him, lock him up, and consider yourself lucky!

Who is Shavlik's agent? I bet that will tell us something about his silly contract.
