Way to blame others for your own ineptitude, Nurk. Who cares how often the coach gives you a 1:1 meeting? Be a professional and stfu.

If they really didn’t talk for two months, it’s on both of them. When the job isn’t getting done, it’s incumbent on both worker and manager to communicate and figure out how to improve. Even if you’ve had that talk before, you can’t let anything like two months elapse without another. Neither should wait that long for the other to initiate that conversation.
No…. He’s an underperforming player who’s shut it down. Can’t believe you’re defending this bum.Cap wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 10:33 pmIf they really didn’t talk for two months, it’s on both of them. How did that come across as defending him? I may be suggesting Bud hasn’t handled it in the ideal way either, but that’s not a defense of Nurk. It looks to me like I clearly stated Nurk is in the wrong, just not the only one. This is the kind of fuck up that takes two parties, unless one is outright refusing to talk.Kryptonic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 10:44 pmNo…. He’s an underperforming player who’s shut it down. Kind of comes across as defending him if you can’t get behind the punishment that is more than deserving. It’s honestly refreshing that some accountability is being held to the players.Cap wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 10:49 pmHow did that come across as defending him? What deserving punishment am I not getting behind? Are you saying that Bud has refused to talk to him as a deserving punishment?Kryptonic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 10:59 pmKind of comes across as defending him if you can’t get behind the punishment that is more than deserving. Are you saying you know what and why he’s not talking to him? You know what you do when you assume? Sometimes bosses/management take a higher road and don’t discuss internal punishments. It’s called being professional… something nurk isn’t familiar with.Cap wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:01 pmWhat deserving punishment am I not getting behind? Where have I said a darn thing about any punishments? I’m talking about their not talking for two months. If you’re saying that’s a punishment, it’s called a lot of things and “professional” isn’t one of them.Kryptonic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:14 pmAre you saying you know what and why he’s not talking to him? Refusing to talk to Nurk to appease the rest of the team? Seriously? They’d be offended by their coach even talking to their disappointing teammate? Refusing to talk to him is a ridiculous and juvenile way to hold him accountable.Kryptonic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:24 pmYes….Cap wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:19 pmWhere have I said a darn thing about any punishments? How do we know how much was said to get to this point? How do we know the coach maybe is doing this to maybe appease the rest of the team? Regardless we can’t assume anything and am happy to see a player held accountable.
I hope you’re right. I seriously don’t understand why some posters are defending the alleged refusal to talk. Maybe it’s just “I hate Nurk, so anything that hurts him is good.” If that’s it, it’s juvenile.Wally_West wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:34 pmI don’t believe for one second that Nurk hasn’t talk to Bud 2 months. Can we afford to relegate Oso to “emergency”? We need to be looking toward the future and he needs playing time to develop.Split T wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:43 pmI just want to wake up tomorrow and we’ve traded Beal, Nurk, and all 3 picks for Jimmy and Portis…is that too much to ask?
9 man rotation:
Guards: Book, Tyus, Grayson
Wings: Jimmy, Dunn, Royce
Bigs: KD, Richards, Portis
Yes I know KD really isn’t a big, but he’ll see time at the 5. Morris and Oso our emergency guys.
All of this posturing sure is exhausting.Split T wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:43 pmI just want to wake up tomorrow and we’ve traded Beal, Nurk, and all 3 picks for Jimmy and Portis…is that too much to ask?

Yeah, shame on Bud if he’s running a team like that but I don’t buy it. Nurk got a huge victim complex, never takes accountability. Complaining that fans expect him to play like KD, he’s a dumbass. He also thru shade at Vogel during media day this year. Unfollowed Book and KD. He just seems like a locker room cancer. These quotes from him are pretty terrible, so yeah I don’t believe him. If they can’t trade him then just send him home and waive and stretch his contract in the offseason.Cap wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:39 pmI hope you’re right. Maybe I shouldn’t call it juvenile considering how many adults think that way… but that’s treading into Politics territory.Cap wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 11:39 pmI hope you’re right.
