Seems like things could get pretty complicated if we try to trade the #10 pick before we own it.

Id have a good laugh if the Rockets drafted a player for a different team and we get stuck with that player if a trade fell apart.

Imagine if we had traded Steph Curry on draft night.

I think you have "laugh" confused with "cry."

What if Ace Bailey falls to #10 and Houston decides to back out? Lol.

I'm half expecting something crazy like that to happen with the draft where our owner and FO get their pants pulled down again. It wouldn't even surprise me if the Rockets just strong arm us and say "we're keeping the 10th pick and throwing you a future 1st".

Well personally I would rather have our 2027 pick back than #10.

The Nets can almost certainly get into that range just by consolidating some of their existing picks, if there's somebody they decide they can't live without in this draft.

They don't have to give away two actual, productive NBA players, and they don't have to take on the league's worst contract for the next couple of years. It'd be great if they'd do something like that, but it'd be an incredibly stupid move, and I don't think the Nets front office is incredibly stupid.

Carter Bryant, Danny Wolf, or Thomas Sorber.

I think Bryant could be a superstar, Wolf could be an elite role player, and Sorber could be baby KG.
Very interesting, thank you. Are you worried about Sorber's foot issues?
Not too worried; hopefully the Suns get access to his medicals before draft night.

I always thought a big PG next to Devin would be ideal. How about Egor Demin?
Id love him, Fears, or even the kid from Illinois.

I also find myself intrigued with the PGs.
The only point guards I think are worthwhile are Clayton and Demin.

Fears feels like the same old, Scoot Henderson/Dennis Smith Jr. prospect that is in every draft that doesn't have true point guard skill, is more of a scoring guard, but does so at a low percentage.

I really don't want to move from 10. I feel the Suns will end up missing out on a really good prospect if they move back.

Fun fact, Fears' dad played college ball at Michigan St.

Do you enjoy tormenting us and yourself with every GM that has owned our team as an avatar for the past 2 years?

My top 7 picks for pick #10 (if we keep it), in order:

1. Ace Bailey (SF)
2. Nolan Traore (PG)
3. Jeremiah Fears (PG)
4. Carter Bryant (SF)
5. Collin Murray-Boyles (PF)
6. Thomas Sorber (C)
7. Derik Queen (C)

More than one of these players will almost certainly still be on the board, so I didn’t feel the need to add any others, especially ones that may drop to #29.

Thoughts about Derik Queen, INF?

Kind of reminds me of KAT, can score, highly skilled at the post, can shoot 3, lack of rim protection... Can easily be 20-10 player in the NBA but on the other hand we saw similar kind of players like Sullinger and Jahlil Okafor dissappear...
