He'll blame it on the owners and that they take too much of their share.

Yes! Would love to see it. I'm going to go back and rewatch some of this game as it is.

I told you Thomas may lead this team in scoring. He's two for two as top scorer.

Len's explosion was great to see. That being said, we can't expect him to perform like this night-in and night-out. He'll have games where he looks like he did tonight (Tyson Chandler perhaps?) and he'll have games where he has the deer-in-the-headlights look. We just have to be pleased with the flashes of potential and hope that it really crystalizes for him in Year 3.

That being said, the team's looking like it could win about 50, no?

-I don't know how we won this game. I've seen this exact same movie every time we've played the Spurs in the last 10 years, but this one ended with a beautiful twist: The good guys won! With defense! And rebounding! In a slow-paced game! After trailing all game!

-I couldn't keep my eyes off of Alex Len. I really don't want to overreact after only one game, but he really seems like he's going to be a difference-maker on the defensive end of the floor. That size, that length. He goes up with arms straight up instead of outward. He boxes out. He hustles. Fuuuuuck.

-I left to go get a drink at concessions, came back a minute later, and my buddy said, "Isaiah just dropped 8 points while you were gone."

-Markieff is the unsung hero this game. He made timely buckets and played great defense.

-Bledsoe had one of those games where he couldn't get the lid off the hoop. So many layups just sat on the rim and then fell off. His defense in the 2nd half was contagious, though.

-The Dragon was quiet this game, which I'm actually encouraged by. Bledsoe and Dragic both struggled, but the Suns still beat the champs.

-HAIL HYDRA

-I actually like the Spurs and their organization, but NOTHING gives me more satisfaction than beating these guys.

Best part of Len's game tonight: He didn't fold under pressure down the stretch in a huge game. Just speechless at how composed he was.

I have to say that after seeing Alex missing offseason number two, I started to lose faith, I know consistency wil be the main issue here, but today was bigger that a stat line or even about him going Chandleresque for worthy stretches of the game. To me, the most encouraging thing, was looking the kid doing it on a night when the better players were strugling and the team as a unit were lacking rythm. Iseasier to show glimpses when the team is up an running at full speed.

And he did against the Spurs nonetheless!!!

Same as Dragic at the time, this kid has no fear, no nightmares to freeze off when it comes to Duncan & Co.

So here I'm pledging not losing my faith on this kid again, hope we get to see him fulfill his potential.

I love that Hornacek trusted him enough to play him at the end of the game against the champs.

The organization wasn't just blowing smoke about Len's improvement.

Looked like a great atmosphere in the arena tonight. Must have been a fun one to be at!

It was absurdly loud for an October game. The arena wasn't full, but there weren't a lot of fairweather fans there tonight, just the diehards. Every time the Suns went on a run, the cheers were electric. Quite a few Spurs fans, but they got drowned out completely in the 4th quarter.

Good find. I never thought I'd see Len on the end of an alley-oop reverse dunk.

And that pick and roll that he turned into a no-see pass to Marcus for the dunk... BEAUTIFUL!!!
