That was news to me that Saric had a 2nd knee surgery. He already had limited mobility so we'll see what this does to his ability to move laterally & defend.

What up my guy. I'm always here just not as loud as I was back in my younger days.

Monty needs to build a better integrative rotation in the regular season building trust with his 10-12 players and rookies. Finishing number one isn’t as important as building confidence in your entire rotation. They over relieved on Book and CP3 in the 4th.
Unfortunately it's just not how he thinks, he wants to cut the depth in playoff basketball and play a 7-8 man rotation for most minutes.. if he doesn't adapt we'll always have a hard time in the later rounds, as you need to be able to change it up when things aren't working
Almost all coaches give 90% of their minutes to their top 8 guys in the playoffs, especially in close games.
Coach Pop would put his bench guys in game situations to lead. He especially excelled when his bench guys had to fill in for a starter. How many games have we watched where the Spurs kick ass when one of their top players was out?
Monty tried to win every game in the 4th with book and CP3 without developing plays for his other guys to score when we needed a bucket. He wanted to win the regular season and so he did. And it came at his own peril.

Sounds like someone who didn’t really want to be there and also thinks he’s more important than he actually is

He also got a multi year deal at a larger number than we paid him. I can’t imagine he was gonna get a better deal anywhere

He's a mercenary as he should be. Time to start the dawg pound in Dallas. Enjoyed some glimpses from the big guy. Too bad he disappeared in the playoffs. Once he picked Doncic's pocket, the Mavs had to have him.

Not only did he get a multi-year deal, they told him he could start.

I thought we signed him to like a 2 year contract at the end of last season so that he was playoff eligible?

I think most people thought we would, but it was just a rest of the season deal.

I've been one of Ayton's biggest critics but I am also not for trading a dollar for 4 quarters. Turner is going to protect the rim better than Ayton but he doesn't have much of a shot and he tends to fall in love with 3's and disappears in games like DA did. I guess we'll see what happens.

Turner can shoot and I actually think he’s been frustrated in Indy because all they wanted him to do was shoot 3s. I think he’s wanted more opportunity but was blocked by Sabonis.

Ayton for Turner is the Suns being dumb and cheap. Ayton for Turner-Duarte-Brissett and picks (followed by Crowder for Collins) I can talk myself into.

Ya if it’s just Turner, that’s not a good return. I’d probably excuse it if we end up with KD, but if we don’t actually use anything we get from Ayton to acquire KD, we should’ve just kept Ayton.

I always heard from local reports and fans here that Turner wanted more 3's. Yes, I think Sabonis hindered his role on offense so it probably seems like he ONLY wanted to shoot threes. Regardless Turner isn't that great at them and his selection of them isn't great either. Something he can definitely improve on though. I do know he seems to be a pretty solid character dude and has done a ton of work for the homeless here in Indy.
