I think this is a recap of that info

That’s the first I’ve seen him say what the deal would be. It’s Mikal, CamJ, and 4 picks according to that. That’s all of our assets.

“KD does not want to play for a ‘better package’”… How could there be a better package?

My guess is they were referencing other teams that could send a “better package”, but KD doesn’t want to play there.

Crowder’s going to be thrown in as an “expiring”? Give them Dario instead. Crowder’s too important to what we do.

Ya, I don’t think we should give up all 3 of Mikal, Cam, and Crowder. Need to hold onto at least 1 of them.

I can live with a weak bench, but we need to keep a good 5th starter.

According to the Trade Machine, Bridges/Johnson/Saric is enough. And Saric is cheaper than Crowder, so it saves the Nets money.

I don't know about you all, but the longer this drags on, this less I want to include Mikal in any deal.

"Bridges available because DA was resigned"

That sounds like Jones did not want to lose both DA and Bridges. So keeping DA actually gives us a better chance at getting KD, unlike what the national media says (and what everyone on here was saying previously... :P).

I've never wanted to. I hope against all hope that we don't have to.

They have been saying all along they didn't want DA, so how would it be a better chance once we signed him? Mikal's value around the league is higher than DA.

Because now Jones may be willing to give up Bridges. He didn't want to lose both Ayton and Bridges.

It says the KD deal is not impacted by the DA signing. That would mean DA wasn't part of the deal anyway.
