God damn, Toronto’s defense is so nasty.
Re: Game Day: Raptors (7-1) @ Suns (1-6), Fri 11/2/18
Yeah it is. Way too much length out there and some very pesky annoying guards.

I really hope we can chalk this up to injuries. I’ve not been thrilled with his demeanor or effort on the court this year. His defense has been atrocious. He won’t stop barking at the refs and gives up on defensive plays if he feels he was wronged at the other end. Apart from the Dallas game, his defender has gotten the best of him each time. We need him to be a leader but he’s contributing to this toxic culture of half-assing everything.

Yes, much more satisfied with this loss than the previous six losses. The team showed effort throughout tonight. The Raptors just happen to be one of the best teams in the league. I'm encouraged by the Suns in this one.bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 9:03 pmOne of my biggest issues was lack of effort in these losses
I can't say the guys energy been bad tonight
Raptors just been playing playoff intensity this half and "allowed" to play that way by the refs

Yes, I was much more encouraged by Ayton's defense tonight.TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Fri Nov 02, 2018 9:08 pmIt took Booker what, 5 oops to Ayton to get one to go down? Relief.
Also, Ayton turning up the defensive intensity is a wonderful thing to see, c'mon young fella.

For sure. Looked so much better than the previous six. I'll take it. I can't wait until we finally play some mediocre teams.

When's the last time we outrebounded a team 49-39? It sure is nice having a center after 50 years of waiting (well, less for some of us lol).
