This sucks. One of my favorite players to watch is now on the Lakers.

Where’s the barf icon when you need it?Split T wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 3:48 pmLakers will be very good and probably the favorite for the title. Have space to fill out the team as well. They could go after a max guy like Kemba or they could just split it up between multiple players and build an actual roster. They will need some guards that can shoot.
I have to say after seeing the quality of picks, I take back what I said about the deal. Essentially all unprotectedMarty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 1:13 amThe Pelicans just set themselves up with almost a decade's worth of draft assets. That was an amazing trade for them. You have to figure they're going to be good in a few years if they just score a hit on a few of their picks.

Is Pelinka all of a sudden competent ?
As shown throughout the playoffs n finals, depth is very important and that roster is going to need some shrewd additions to be balanced.
I just expect the usual, Bron and another star who just take turns on offense, team D avg if not bad and same for shooting. The Others being thrown under the bus by all star for not contributing enough
If it was Griffin who was filling out the roster I would be more nervous
A few other notables -Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 2:27 pmI liked this TrueHoop article about leg injuries (like Durant and Klay's) and recent advancements in training to avoid them.

Hunter has always been my favorite at #6 as far as BPA. I just wish he had a different first name lol.Split T wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 6:08 pmI have a feeling this might be happening. With Duane Rankin reporting us going after Deandre Hunter, it would fit that we feel confident about pg in free agency. Russell can easily tell Booker he wants to come here and Booker passes that message along. We still have to clear the cap space, but that can be done fairly easily if need be.
Don't underestimate LeBron's ability to stack the roster with bad role players.Split T wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 3:48 pmLakers will be very good and probably the favorite for the title. Loy Vaught also ruptured his Achilles. He was a defensive stud beforehand, but never really recovered either. Achilles injuries are bad. Durant's value is in deep trouble, and he's unlikely to be dominant again. The Bobster wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 3:32 pmA few other notables -Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 2:27 pmI liked this TrueHoop article about leg injuries (like Durant and Klay's) and recent advancements in training to avoid them.

I'm surprised the Rockets don't just run it back, with whatever tweaks they can make to help the roster. They came within a hair's breadth of beating GSW again, and now the Warriors are the walking wounded and likely out of title contention. Why wouldn't the Rockets want one more shot at making the Finals? They have as good a shot as anybody. I get that their roster and coaching staff is imperfect, but what current Western team can't say the same? One more run, guys, one more run.carey wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 7:58 amInteresting article on the Rox.

Yeah,Rockets shouldn't panic. They should be smart in what they need to fix. How about McD focus on boxing out each possession? They got killed when they consistently stopped boxing out and got killed off of second, third, and fourth chances.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 9:28 amI'm surprised the Rockets don't just run it back, with whatever tweaks they can make to help the roster.
