I assume that too. Remember the good ole days when the suns would post videos of him making 48 in a row?
Those were so dumb. As a coach myself, they were offensive to me. You can't measure yourself or get better at in game 3 pt shooting, by sitting there shooting like you are at a pop-a-shot machine. Does that seem realistic? If you had him sprinting to half court, coming down and hitting it, then next time doing the same, but taking a dribble before hitting it, and then the next time running from sideline to sideline and catching it and hitting it...ect. Then making 48 in a row would be impressive. You only do standstill shooting over and over to find your groove and build muscle memory on your shot form, but it's not all that helpful to translate into game shots.
So you can do it?
I don't think he is saying that. He is saying that making shots in practice, not even game-like situations, is something Dan Langhi can do. So it isn't big thing to pimp.
Yeah, I wasn't trying to compare myself to Devin. I'm a good shooter, but I have never made 48 3 pointers in a row, nor have I ever been paid to "play" basketball at the highest level.

Haven't you ever asked yourself why Devin has never made even 6 in a row from 3 without a miss in a game if he can make 48 in a row in practice? That's just 1/8th as many. Seems like that should be doable, no?
Surprisingly, he's never made more than 6 total in a game. That has happened 49 times in Suns history alone, but Book hasn't been able to break that barrier yet. Even Ason Kidd did that for us.

I used to work for a college basketball team. We had a very good player one year who’s only weakness was his shooting. I’d routinely see him stand in the corner and hit 10-11 3’s in a row. He was a career 28% 3pt shooter.

Side not, Q had a game where he attempted 17 threes! THat was the first and last time a Sun has ever attempted that many. He only made 4.

Remember Alec Brown? Could hit endless number of 3s in practice and drills.
How long was his NBA career ....

You guys are forgetting the Sun most known for not missing in practice but couldn't hit shots in a game...

I have a pool basketball hoop. Sometimes I get in a groove and can’t miss. Then my wife comes outside and sees me and it’s brick city.

It’s like golf. The harder you try the worse it gets.
