"Everyone" and "Entire World" is not a compelling argument to me on many things.
I would argue going against what the world thinks is a compelling argument to you.

It just feels that way to you.

Not the whole world. He just seems most interested in what the Trumpublicans/QANON people think.

Anybody thinking there's justification for all these innocent people being terrorized is just unfathomable to me.

There never is. But we should be careful about casting stones, you know with all the glass houses in the US. I mean we just publicly murdered a family of 10 because we thought they were going to do something bad.

This I can agree with.

Is that what happened in Afghanistan or Iraq?
I didn't, and don't, support our military efforts in either Iraq or Afghanistan. I think we should have stayed out.

Uh oh. Russia is firing at/near nuclear plants in Ukraine. That could be very bad.

This is going to be a war of attrition. Who knows how long the Ukrainian government can hold on, but I don't foresee Putin backing out and stuff like shelling nuclear power plants is just the beginning.

Oof. Lindsey Graham suggests that somebody in Russia ought to assassinate Putin. That's kind of a bad thing to say publicly.

The craziest part is, Graham himself worked under a tyrant and didn't show even remotely close to the level of resistance or courage necessary to oppose him. Much less "Brutus" him.

Lindsey also said that we should fight China in Korea in front of the Koreans.

Lost not only his balls but also his brains when McCain died.

Lindsey has all the balls in the world when his skin isn’t on the line.

Controlling the media is very important. Dictate the conversation to your point of view and you win their hearts and minds. America has gone a different route. We have a free press. Propaganda from everywhere is ok. It’s a little overwhelming and confusing but, I guess better than a dictator dictating one view.

Russia backs jail time for 'fake' army news, restricts media
https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/2 ... ts-media-1

The new legislation sets out jail terms of varying lengths and fines against people who publish "knowingly false information" about the military.

"If the fakes led to serious consequences, (the legislation) threatens imprisonment of up to 15 years," the lower house of parliament said in a statement.

Speaking at the session, the head of the head of the parliament's information committee Alexander Khinshtein said the law "concerns all citizens, not only Russian ones, because we are talking about actions against Russia."

Amendments were also passed to fine or jail people calling for sanctions against Russia with jail terms.

GOP torn as Greene speaks to far right amid ‘Putin!’ chants
https://apnews.com/article/russia-ukrai ... 0d022ac775
WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican leaders in Congress are torn over what to do with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after the congresswoman spoke at a weekend event organized by a white nationalist who marveled over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as the crowd erupted in chants of “Putin!”

It all shows the difficulty Republican leaders have combating the party’s drift toward Trump-style authoritarianism and embracing right-wing extremism.

“This may be a chance to burn out the cancer of the Republican Party — those that are, you know, Putin sympathetic,” said Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., a former military pilot who broke with his party over the Trump presidency.

But he worries that McCarthy and other GOP leaders will stop short of kicking Greene out of the party. “He won’t because she has power, let’s be honest, but I’m embarrassed by it.”
