Glad for the win...fun. However, no facilitator on the second unit...Payne has 1 assist only...and our physical play...are still concerns...Woods had 20 free throws, Ayton had 4. Same concerns. Not unhappy about the win...just wish we were taking steps to improve these points ..

James Jones should be ashamed.
Oh?
I haven’t changed my opinion.
Nor should you, this team has 3-4 good players and a bunch of Amazon drivers.

Really really need someone who can put pressure on the defense when Booker isn’t out there. I won’t completely rule out Paul, but he looked like a miniature Rubio out there last night…that’s not gonna do it. It was amazing how much things changed with Booker out there. Ayton too, no coincidence that our big runs happened in the 2nd half when both were on the court.
Booker with the ball and Ayton rolling. Those are about the only things we have that scare the defense right now.

Really sucks weenie that Jalen Smith is better than Torrey Craig now. Hurts me.

Has any team ever completely botched 3 straight transactions with the same player before?

I don't know that he's that above and beyond. He put up some OK numbers in a loss to the Wizards. I'm not sure Jalen helps us last night. Much higher pressure situation than the Wizards.

The first two were real bad
Passing on Haliburton, Bane, Maxey, Vassell looks absolutely awful now, but was really bad at the time too.
Not picking up his option was just negligent.
Trading him for Craig was meh, didn’t work but the damage was done with the previous transactions. I’ll never forgive passing on Haliburton.

No question that was a mistake.

Ayton was really solid last night. He's not a superstar but he is what he is. I just wish he could learn how to get to the line. Wood had 10 attempts to his 3. It's still hard for me to accept but I don't think that is going to change. He is a finesse player who doesn't like contact. Just have to accept that fact and appreciate him for what he is.

I made it through 1.5 quarters. I'm glad LP is cheap now lol.
Too bad you have no faith.
I've also got a needy toddler, but go on.
Just giving you the business. Nothing personal. I'm glad you've got your priorities straight. Enjoy the little one.

He would add some size, ya know, that thing the Suns lack so desperately.

Suns Win!
Dallas loses. Suns fans freaking out over our roster not cutting it. Imagine being an improved Dallas team that destroyed the Suns in game 7 and getting beat by this Suns team. Their fans must be ready to commit suicide by now and have totally given up on their team.

We’ll see what happens in future games as Dallas isn’t very big, but size was not an issue at all last night. So I wouldn’t call it a desperate need. I’d say our biggest need is on ball creation…then I’d say depth(and I specifically mean like 6-8 on the depth chart. Wing size would be next.
1. Booker
2. No one
3. CP3(though he looked more like a borderline starter last night.
4. Ayton and Mikal(Ayton could be a 3rd guy, he’s close)
5. CamJ
6. No one
7. No one
8. Cam Payne
9. Jock Landale and Damian Lee
10-15. Everyone else
That’s how I see our depth. Desperately need a sidekick for Booker and at least two bench pieces better than Cam Payne.

I wouldn’t feel great about my team if I was a Mavs fan. Luka is great, but Wood is the only other guy on that team that can be more than a role player.

This is a perfect example of what happens way too many times each game (I counted 5 times just in the last quarter and a half):
