A backup know who can become the starter later?

Thinking of guys who fit that bill…a lot of these guys wouldn’t be available:

Tyus Jones, Deanthony Melton, Shake Milton, Bones Hyland, Davion Mitchell, Tre Mann, Coby White, Malachi Flynn

Yea haven't really dug in yet but can't think of anyone off the top of my head. Maybe Rozier? Once of the young Magic guards who are more or less unproven?

I was strictly sticking to guys actually coming off the bench for their teams now…but we could move a current starter to the bench.

I still like Fultz. He’s 16/7/5 with over 2 steals per-36. The shooting is getting better. He’s over 40% on midrange jumpers and at 32% from 3. He’s big and defends. Makes 17 million next year and then is a free agent.

I like Suggs as a buy low-ish target. If we move Ayton, something with Ayton and WCJ-Suggs as the principal pieces I’d also extend it to include some combination of Dario-Jae-Shamet and Isaac-Ross-Hampton.

I don’t really see Orlando interested in Ayton…not with all the size they have. I did get quite excited about the prospect of Ayton for Carter over the summer. Maybe if we could get a 3rd team that wants Ayton in there that would give Orlando something they’d want more.

WCJ to Ayton is a lateral move for Orlando.

Lateral move in talent, significant downgrade in contract value for Orlando.

We're just sort of treading water until Book returns and Crowder gets traded.

Well this is disappointing.

It does feel like maybe this will be a bit of a lost season. I just hope we get a decent draft pick out of it.

There's too many different reports as to what is actually going on behind the scenes. Frustrating as a fan for sure. Appears to be another lost season for now. If so, make that 7 out of the last 10 and also fuck Robert Sarver.

Sarver might be taking joy in screwing the team over a bit on his way out.

He seems like the type.
