He doesn't think this stuff is a problem.
He got suspended for it before. He didn’t think he’d get suspended again, or are you saying he doesn’t think getting suspended is a problem?
I'm saying he doesn't think his actions are a problem. That's the only reason he hasn't stopped. He just got caught, again.

Ayton for Ja. Ayton won't pull a piece except in Call of Duty.

I Don’t want Ja…I’d rather have Ayton

It was on Instagram. He didn’t get “caught,” he knowingly did it in the open.
So how did he not think his actions would be a problem? Did he not think his actions would lead to a second suspension, or did he not think a second suspension would be a problem?

He's just stupid. That's as deep as it gets, IMO.
There's no foresight into consequences because he doesn't perceive his actions as problematic and/or outright doesn't care about the consequences.
Edit: He did get "caught". The fact that he's in the same situation tells us that he hasn't at all changed his behavior when the iPhone camera isn't pointed at him.

Situation is ripe for Ishbia to poach him and show Jones the door.
And

Somebody explain the psychology of this to me. He has gotten in trouble for it before, so he knows it’s a problem, but does it anyway? What the heck is going on in his brain when that happens?
It shows me he doesn't have a fully functioning brain. Remember when he said he learned his lesson? Uh, no.

Or....CP for Ja!?!?
I actually think this could work. Memphis needs a leader and the Suns need youth.

Ja could shoot someone on 5th avenue and Memphis wouldn’t trade him for CP3.

Chris Paul for Ja Morant?!?! Can you even imagine how that conversation would go from the Grizzlies perspective?
I know he's been an idiot for the past year, but com'on...

Firing James Jones does nothing for me. Ishbia is basically the GM now, and he made a deal that essentially handicaps the Suns for the foreseeable future.
But I think it would be a little weird if Jones gets a pass but Monty gets axed. The Suns coughed up a 2-0 series lead in the NBA Finals, and then were blown out on their homecourt to end back to back seasons, so yeah Monty had all of that working against him, but Jones has made some major blunders along the way that have worked against the Suns:
- His comical handling of Jalen Smith
- The Landry Shamet acquisition
- He hasn't been able to find a big to play next to Ayton
- Failing to secure another point option when CP3 and CamPayne proved to be unreliable

Almost certainly. But as a starting point for negotiations...keep in mind that the Grizz flamed out worse than we did.

That would instantly be one of the worst trades in NBA history.

Was the Javale signing that bad? He played decently for us. He wouldn’t have been my first choice, but those other points seem significantly worse.

Yeah. I didn’t get that bullet either. He was great in the regular season for us. Just got exposed in the playoffs. But it was a 1-year, low risk move that I think was positive for the most part.

The problem with McGee acquisition is that the Suns had limited means of improving that offseason, and using a chunk of the MLE on a backup center was a poor use of those limited resources. Bismack turned out to be better, and he was had for the vet minimum.
So yeah, that was a miss.
