Can we get top 20 protection? I’d be willing to give up a pick at the end of the round. The question is what we can give them instead if it’s top 20, since ’32 isn’t on the table.

It’s just wishful thinking if we’re trying to get Jimmy without including 2031 unprotected. Why would Miami do that trade?

The whole reason Jimmy wants out is because Miami doesn’t want to pay him…so why would they trade him for a worse player that is already signed to the contract they don’t want to give Jimmy?

I think it has to be a 3 team deal with Beal going somewhere else. Even then, the 2031 pick is going to be in it…I’m just hoping we don’t give up Dunn and Oso.

IMO if or when this trade happens, it won’t be a simple Beal for Jimmy straight up. It probably be a 3 team or 4 team deal, where Miami gets multiple different pieces or assets. Beal will go to Miami probably but it’ll be more pieces with him. That’s just my speculation tho, maybe wishful thinking.
