I get that you're an optimist, and I'm not telling not be, but you seem to devalue or dismiss opinions just because they're negative and that hardly seems reasonable.

Additionally, wormwood restricted his posts to coming in and saying he hated something or that something was terrible, and usually without any analysis, save for some Wages Wins or whatever that site is called that he referred to so often. I don't see that happening now.

Also, it has hardly been doom and gloom around here. Posters are excited about T.J. Warren. Comments have been made about how good Bledsoe has looked. In fact, I haven't read one negative thing about Bledsoe since preseason started.

Nearly everyone is hopeful about Isaiah Thomas and have made positive remarks about his play so far.

So let's not cover our ears and scream "la-la-la" anytime someone mentions something remotely negative or critical.

Agreed. It seems pretty positive around here the last couple weeks.

You're right. My bad. I still appreciate Ring's take but I shouldn't have thrown the "Wormwood" moniker around like that. I don't close my ears to the pessimism posts. It just seems like the same points get repeated over and over. We'll see how it plays out.

And that is why our community is great. On other message boards this would have been a 10 page flame war trying to prove each other wrong fulfilling Godwin's Law.

I'm not sure Godwin's Law even applies here. I think maybe some old threads about politics may have gotten close though.

Instead of fulfilling Godwin's Law we talk about whether or not Goodwin's raw. ;)

He is... too raw. I hope he gets more patient, while maintaining his quickness.

Heh. The funny thing is that I was one of those for a lot of time. During the previous regimes I had the feeling that everything was a disaster waiting to happen, from picks to trades to free agents.

After the tail of the Nash era was ruined by the Hedious Summer, and then the miserable 12-13 season, I have learned to better appreciate the good things we have right now. At the same time, I am a demanding fan, and I know that this is not a perfect roster and that it has not even made the playoffs yet, but I think the group of players we have is finally worth my time again, and so far it seems the case too with the FO, even if they don't give me everything I may want.

I'm still so annoyed that we picked Alex Len over anyone, especially Noel at the same position. This by far the worst move made by this new administration. Just had to reiterate. Imagine we are going into this season with Noel ? He may re-injure himself as well but he put up good numbers in SL Len only puts up good numbers as it pertains to counting the DNP's he has each season.

I haven't totally given up on Len, but I don't think it is super likely that he will turn out to be a star. And that's too bad to be able to say that about the 5th pick in the draft.

Let's see how many other stars turnout from that draft class.

The Suns don't need Len to be a star. They need him to be an above average center that can contribute at both ends of the court.
