I was on the Harrell wagon for a long time, but I dont see any upside there. I think what he is now is all you'll get. An energy big who is limited on both ends.carey wrote:At current my preference in order of who I think is available.Shabazz wrote:So who do people like?
for semi-realistic targets at #13, I'm really warming to Myles Turner.
1. Harrell
2. Payne
3. Oubre
4. Rondae
2015 NBA Draft

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Ah yes, the draft combine. Where they line up the players like cattle and measure them for sale. I love how some guys always get majorly hyped up after this event just because they have a huge "wingspan" or standing vertical or some crap. Or buried because they don't. It's the best.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Just remember how poorly Kevin Durant on some of the combine tests.
The combine is good for "sizing up" a player and gauging some aspects of athleticism.
What it can't measure is experience, heart, court smarts and big play capability.

Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Inf, if you're reading this, have you seen http://realtimedraft.com/ yet? You can pit your scouting sense up to others.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
I like Harrell and used to be really high on him. But at 6'7 and a 3 or 4 year player, I don't think he is the type of guy that will be able to guard bigs and I'm not sure he has a ton of upside.
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
All the other bigs at #13 are projects which is ok. Otherwise we will be taking a PG again. Yay. I don't see us taking a SF.
Go Suns!

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Oubre has a ton of talent, but yeah, I can't see us taking an SF, either. Oubre will be a bargain in the late teens.
I don't see us taking a PG with the #13 - later in the first round (via trade) or in the second round? Much more likely.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
ESPN showing that we have a .6% chance to get the first pick. Sounds easy enough. Len is going to steal us the first pick.

Re: 2015 NBA Draft
The actual lottery has already happened - we've either lucked into a top 3 pick or not. The televised lottery is just for show.
I'm trying hard not to get my hopes up that we'll get into the top 3 but it's hard not to wish/hope/dream!

Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.
Re: 2015 NBA Draft
Don't hold your breath at a less than one percent chance though. I guess that's for the first pick. What about top 3? About 2 or 3 percent chance?

I think we're roughly a 2% chance for a top 3 pick.Superbone wrote:Don't hold your breath at a less than one percent chance though. I guess that's for the first pick. What about top 3? About 2 or 3 percent chance?
