We know who's handling the ball on that team.

And so does Knight? Booker isn't the one that has hundreds of lowlight reels of him on youtube getting his ankles broken by Kyrie Irving and many others or posterized by half the league....that would be Knight.JCSunsfan wrote:He still needs to learn to play defense.ShelC wrote:Come on guys, really? Can we not put our heads in the sand and pretend like Booker shouldn't be starting and getting touches and bring groomed as a main option?
I was thinking the same thing.Superbone wrote:Post by Superbone » Wed May 18, 2016 10:43 pm
First run at getting Nash more involved.
I am with Cap and Mori on this as well if Booker gets the minutes it doesn't matter to me.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:Post by Marty [Mori Chu] » Mon May 16, 2016 6:55 am
Like what Cap said, I guess I don't care as much who starts/finishes games, more about who gets how many minutes. If they find 25-30 minutes for Booker every night, I'm content.

Don't worry, he s been well disciplined by his coach at Fenerbahce who yelled at him after every mistake or even because of lack of attention on a play. Two different worlds, you rarely see public displeasure by a coach like that in the NBA.INFORMER wrote:The next Markieff Morris!Ring_Wanted wrote:Guy is so clutch.gosuns wrote:Bogdan taking over with seven points in OT. 81 - 74 Fenerbahce.

They probably have to let Whiteside leave, right? I wouldn't be shocked if they were worse next year. Though Winslow will be another year older and could make a leap.Superbone wrote:The Heat pick may be better a year later anyway.

http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/knick ... mes-dolan/Then Hornacek was left to resolve the messy matter of having three point guards on the floor at the same time when the team added Isaiah Thomas to a backcourt that already had Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe. The results were not only awkward, but also unsuccessful. The Suns dipped to 39 wins the following year, and Hornacek's fence-mending with Dragic was for naught.
Within days of Hornacek having a heart-to-heart with Dragic and securing a commitment from the Slovenian point guard to re-sign with the Suns as a free agent the following summer, the Suns shipped him to Miami in a three-team trade, a person familiar with the situation told CBS Sports.
It is too easy to play would've/could've with all the moving pieces, but I would be happier with an over-paid Goran + over-paid Bledsoe + under-paid Thomas vs an overpaid Bleds + overpaid Knight - Lakers pick + two Miami picks.ShelC wrote:Given what was put out there by Dragic, I'm fine with him being traded even with this coming out now. He just as easily could've had another change of heart and left via free agency so we got what we could. Would we really have maxed him out anyways? Would he have been worth it? Given how he was handled, didn't seem like he was part of our future anyways.

I think the Goran/Bledsoe pairing was so much better than what we have now. And honestly, I think the Goran/Booker backcourt would have pushed Bledsoe back to 3rd guard soon. I wouldn't have too many complaints if that was our back court rotation instead of the same thing but with Knight in place of Goran, and having to add Price because of our 3 primary back court guys, only 1 is a good at getting his teammates involved (and he isn't even one of our PGs).
