And no, based on his college career and scouting reports I don't include Josh Jackson, who is on a rookie scale contract and under team control for five years for Kyrie Irving who is going to ask for $35-$40 million a year when he starts talking new contract in the next year or two.

I'm not basing anything on summer league games. It' going to end up being Bled and Miami 1st to Cleveland, Kyrie to NY, Ntilikina, (insert bad contract) and 2 1st from NY to Phx

Agreed. I am fine with keeping Bledsoe. I would love to have Kyrie, but Jackson is staying.In2ition wrote:And they can go pound sand. Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
Haha, yeah it is. They are convinced that the Suns will cave, because they did in the Wiggins/Love trade. They just can't get it through their lead paint eating brains that the Suns aren't DESPERATE to please the King. The Suns don't NEED to make this trade, all pressure is on the Cavs.iLLmatic wrote:This is my stance as well. Call me crazy but I'd rather have Jackson than Wiggins right now.In2ition wrote:Haha, yeah it is. That would be great, depending on that bad contract.In2ition wrote:It' going to end up being Bled and Miami 1st to Cleveland, Kyrie to NY, Ntilikina, (insert bad contract) and 2 1st from NY to Phx

Nope. Just gets rid of assets for a more expensive piece that still doesn't fit with our likely #1 option.Superbone wrote:So, you wouldn't do it for Bled, Warren or Chriss, and the 2019 Miami pick top 10 protected?Indy wrote:I can't think of a good deal for us with just Cleveland. Who also isn't interested in signing an extension so we will go through the process of wondering if he'll even resign with us two years from now. Pass.Indy wrote:Nope. Let me ask those who know the Collective bargaining rules better than I do. Not the Super Max, no. Has to be with the team that drafted you.

His 2 years left on the contract and the Super Max are the only leverage that Cleveland has. The fanbase seems to have started burning the jerseys though.carey wrote:Not the Super Max, no. Has to be with the team that drafted you.

what is he going to do on a team that will struggle to crack .500?”

Re: Kyrie Irving Trade Countdown
Sounds good for us and NY, but Cleveland is not getting enough. Maybe Bledsoe + 2NY 1st rounder to Cleveland; Courtney Lee and Ntilikina to Phoenix and Kyrie to NY. Keep in mind that a few weeks ago, we would have taken Ntilikina disguised as "Bledsoe for the 8th pick", and not everyone, but many would have liked it.In2ition wrote:It' going to end up being Bled and Miami 1st to Cleveland, Kyrie to NY, Ntilikina, (insert bad contract) and 2 1st from NY to Phx
Ideally, I would happily give up one of our 1st (Top 5 protected, never send unprotected picks aways) if that turns Ntilikina into Porzingis, then swap our Chriss for the Kris in Chicago (Dunn) to balance the roster. Send us Noah instead of Lee if that what it takes (Millsap to NY would adjust the trade under cap rules)
Dunn/ Ulis /James
Booker/ Reed/ DJJ
Jackson/ Warren (to balance O & D)
Porzingis/ Bender/Dudley
Chandler/ Noah/ Williams
