Whom to pick at 6
Re: Who to pick at 6
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

That is asking a lot.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 5:16 pmAlright, now that that's out of the way, can we all agree to never make that obvious joke again for the rest of Tyler Herro's career?Superbone wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 5:13 pmYeah, but who wants to watch a bunch of Herro ball?Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 3:29 pmI also like Herro. I'm on the Coby White train at 6.
Re: Who to pick at 6
No that wasn't me. I haven't really backed anyone but White's been growing on me. I think he's got homerun ability. Hope he's there.

White has grown on me recently and I'd prefer him over Garland at this point.
I like his size and I think he reminds me of Fox and Barbosa, for better and worse.
Re: Who to pick at 6
It just seems like the more the reports come out that he is who we are taking, more and more people come out saying that is who they want. Seems very circular to me.

I’ve come around a bit on White, but I’d still prefer Culver or Garland

Re: Who to pick at 6
My top three as of now:
1. Culver - I think he's probably the best all-around player outside of the top three in the draft. I also think a backcourt with him and Booker would work out in the long term, but I'd really need to see the Suns go after a veteran starter like Beverley.
2. Clarke - He's the best big man athlete not named Zion and I think he complements Ayton well. He's shown a high basketball IQ and I can see him becoming a Draymond Green or Al Horford type of player at his peak.
3. White/Hunter - Both guys who fill a position of need, but not in an ideal way. Hunter is a bit undersized to play a lot of minutes at the 4, and White is more of a 2 who will be expected to be a 1. I think they'll both be solid players and would be very surprised if either is complete bust.
I've moved off of Garland because I just think he's too much of a risk for the Suns to take right now. They need to start pushing for the playoffs and bringing in a guy who we've seen so little of scares the hell out of me. Not to mention that he's fairly undersized and likely the worst defender among the players being considered at 6.

I know everyone has a story, but that is a lot to take in.

Re: Who to pick at 6
Despite all these Coby White rumors, I'd bet on the Suns trading the pick before them selecting a player with it.
If they're willing to trade TJ and JJ for essentially cap space to sign a FA guard, it doesn't make sense to draft White.

Re: Who to pick at 6
Randle will be a horrible fit next to Ayton.
And it doesn't seem like there are any takers for Jackson or Warren.
Re: Who to pick at 6
How would you have any idea if there are takers for Jackson and Warren?
Re: Who to pick at 6
Agreed. I am glad people are coming around on Coby. He could be our Fox. He has that kind of straight line speed and already has a jumper. Not nearly as cerebral or as instinctual though.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Despite all these Coby White rumors, I'd bet on the Suns trading the pick before them selecting a player with it.
Go Suns!
Og Snus!
Og Snus!

I'm still for picking Clarke. If they get another pick and dump TJ and Josh, you could go BPA and then Cheatham at 32. I really think he's going to surprise people and be in the league a long time.
