No, a trade exception can't be combined with players.

we can accept a player (or players) who makes less than that in a trade. I think that will more likely be used closer to free agency with a team looking to create room.

We only have ~$1.5M in cash to send out in a trade.

It could have been separate trades though and we could’ve taken Goodwin and Todd into it
