That's fine. You do not need to talk about him; nobody is asking or forcing you to. I am willing to moderate or block things if they are super problematic to the health of the board (such as closing the Politics section), but outside of rare cases like that, I really don't want to ban topics or tell people what they are or aren't allowed to talk about. You don't like a topic, go to another thread or start another topic. I'm sure we're capable of handling that.

Ayton is a cancer to the board.

Keep acting like that dude doesn't end up derailing every single thread on this board. Keep them blinders on.

Agreed. Sorry for asking about the contract. $8M seems like pennies for a 15/10 center.

The report is he'll make $34M. He gave up $10M of roughly $35M in the buyout, so he's probably getting $10M from the Lakers this season.

This Lakers deal is a player option 1+1 that's being reported as 2 years for $18M. The second year PO is probably about $8M.
I got this wrong. Apparently the deal is for $16M, don't know where I saw $18M.

Exactly. It travels from thread to thread. He can't help himself. Any center the Suns acquire is trashed on as is Booker and he ultimately ends up in the conversation.

Unlock All About Ayton and ban his name in the rest of the threads

We're really not going to allow Ayton to decimate this forum, are we?

As far as censoring former Suns' names, it's not like there aren't precedents like Luc Longley and Robert Horry. (Which apparently got lost somewhere along the way.)

Yes, yes we are.

Can't wait until he has a good game and it's gonna be all over this forum. Exciting times.

The dude disappoints wherever he goes! Ruining everything and everybody all around him. Only one person here is going to broadcast that here and I'm with Saucy regarding having only one thread for all things Hayton. BTW, he should change his nickname to relocAyton. He and the #2 pick in that draft have a lot in common when it comes to that.

@Marty? I think we are all in agreement here. I would think the only caveats are when it's natural like when we play the Lakers this upcoming season. It would be weird to not mention him in the Suns/Lakers game day threads.

But WOW! Read page one. We were all stoked! LOL.

The biggest problem is Jeremy telling us how good Ayton is ad nauseum. That has to stop wherever Ayton is talked about.

OK, the "All Things Ayton" thread has been unlocked and stickied. Please talk about him there if you want to talk about him. And let's agree not to discuss DA in other threads, unless it's a Game Night and we are playing against his team.
