Much like the Suns win at the Los Angeles Lakers when Eric Bledsoe played 21 minutes, he logged only 23 minutes Wednesday night and was alone in his lack of enthusiasm on the bench for a victorious fourth quarter.

Bledsoe's perimeter defense helped set a tone for the turnaround like it did Sunday against Stephen Curry. Bledsoe exited after his seventh turnover, just a week after he had a career-high nine turnovers against Memphis.

For 70 Mil he can at least cheer for his teammates. I'm not liking this body language.

Could be he's beating the hell out of himself for the slump - and feeling the expectations of the big contract.....

I sincerely hope that's it. In spite of his turnovers, he did help turn things around in the 3rd quarter. It's just that IT and Green were hot. I hope he doesn't take it personally.

I say that because he's proven that he's busted his ass by coming into camp in phenomenal shape and improved his jumper - essentially, on his own. Those aren't the actions of a disconnected malcontent, in my eyes - I think he may be pressing and, the more he makes mistakes, the more he presses as opposed to just playing on instinct. He still makes the occasional gamble that flashes the unreal defensive anticipation he showed last season, but, so far this season, when he screws up, it seems he crawls into introversion and starts to think too much. It's not physical as, if it were, he wouldn't have rose up for that dunk in traffic last night.

No, I think he's pressing - I don't think he needs a Dan D'Antoni whispering sweet nothings and passing him notes like 6th graders in days of yore, but I think Hornacek needs to re-assure him that he has a green light on his instincts as opposed to following particular plays to the letter. It's those kind of instincts that made it possible for he & Dragic to switch playmaking so easily on the fly last season. Hell, I've not yet met one musician outside of a symphony who's played every chart in front of him/her note-for-note.

I think the only thing he's taking personally is the slump he's been going through since Utah.....
