75 pages to go, quit slacking people!
Quick someone throw some shade on Ayton so that Jeremy has to defend him.
I’d throw shade at DA, but he’d probably drop it

That’s an incredible trade for the suns. Looney, Wiggins, and Moody?

I remember a brief discussion about the summer league stats Bo Outlaw would put up when he played for the Suns.
Level of competition matters.

I was thinking the same thing initially when I saw it, but wondered why GS would be that desperate for size to compete with the Lakers and Denver to do it themselves?

And yet DA couldn’t flash any semblance of an offensive game against this competition. He is basically a taller Kurt Thomas on offense with less guts

Good for DA. I hope his 4 game streak of playing hard continues on next season.

I think it was 3 offseasons ago already where James Jones acknowledged that getting to the line was just not in DA’s game (read: DNA). I’ve given up on it ever happening and I think it would be healthy for everyone here to do the same.

I have, I’ve given up on DA entirely.

Surely not his best game but I don't care whom you are playing, 21 boards can't be as easily discounted as it has been here. Consistency will continue to be an issue.
Kevon Looney?
Okay then let’s pay him Looney money.
Not exciting. Woop dee doo he grabbed 21 boards in a YMCA game where he’s easily the biggest and most athletic.
The fact he couldn’t assert himself offensively at all is pathetic.
Let me know when Looney averages double figures in rebounding (or a double-double) in any season in his career.
Let me know when Ayton fails to average double figures in rebounding (or a double-double) in any season in his career.
Looney has never averaged double figures in scoring, either, and had a total of two double-doubles in the playoffs. But let's not let facts get in the way.

He was more efficient than a bunch of guys who'll never sniff the NBA. And Facundo Campazzo.

Lolololololol. You’re talking about someone making $7M annually vs a max guy.
Last playoffs, a player making $7M annually as a CENTER averaged 6.5 points/13.1 rebounds/3.3 assists per game on 58% from the field with 2 FTAs per 36 on 7 field goal attempts per 36.
Your “max” guy averaged a whopping 13.4 points/ an incredible 9.7 rebounds/ an amazing 1 assist per game on 55% from the field with a bulldozing 2.6 FTAs per 36 on 12.5!!!!!! FGAs per 36.
He’s a midrange softy who was outperformed by someone making a fourth of his money.
He’s so pathetic you’re having to cite “top performer” in a list of YMCA players, and his offensive output was marginal even then! He wouldn’t average 30 points in a game against my preschoolers if midrange jumpers were disallowed

I did. I saw two plays of him dribbling to the basket. One of them he almost lost the ball out of bounds.
Otherwise it was business as usual. Midrange J settling. Passing the ball out right away. No desire to dominate or attempt to create contact as the most dominant force on the court

If we’re talking the trade, it’s not even about Looney. Looney is limited, but he’s cheap and provides what we need from the 5. The real prize is Wiggins, who is our Mikal replacement. Can defend top wings and can shoot. Even has a little off the bounce juice. Then Moody is a developmental prospect who I kinda like.
