Aside from the ass kickage, it was nice to finally see the new guys in action. It's a bummer that Len was out. Been hearing how great he is playing and he misses the start. I hadn't been keeping up over the summer and didn't know that Williams was also out for surgery.
I was on record, before the season even started, for being on board for one last tank job. There will be an extremely deep draft next year with some real difference makers. We're off to an excellent start!

I am just tired of Watson's wannabe motion offense. If you can't teach it, it is worthless. Kind of like Watson now.

Between JJ, Booker and Warren you should have a better result regardless.

Sometimes you need reality to bite you in the ass. Just imagine being one of the Suns players tonight in the locker room after the game and in the video replay session tomorrow. Game one at home and you set a record for the crappiest game ever played. Perhaps a little hard reality and soul searching to start off the season is a good thing.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

Hey, at least there is no question they have some work to do. A LOT of work. If they thought they were going to be good, this was a rude awakening. I've heard Bledsoe say that the goal this season is to make the playoffs. He and Sarver might want to rethink that one.

I understand it is in our best interest to tank this season. I get it, I know we’re going to lose but we don’t need to freaking lose by 48 points!

Well, of course it would be best to lose every game by 1 point but that's kind of hard to engineer. This is much easier. :P

What is Fulton Homes going to do when they have to cut a $1700 check at the end of the season?

I think Bledose might manage to make the playoffs this year just not on the Suns.

Sorry Marty but Chriss is not good at basketball. McD whiffed on that pick, someone fell in love with his athleticism. From what i saw tonight he throws little temper tantrums when things don't go his way and he gets overly frustrated too easy. I would have yanked him from the game after he lowered his shoulder on that pick he tried fighting through. He's not good enough to act the way that he does, he's easily my most disliked player on the team right now and it's not even close.
Agree. Chriss is a good athlete with little or no courts smarts and a crappy attitude. The problem is compounded when people mistake that attitude as "competitive fire." The pick is an embarrassment.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

An absolutely historically disgraceful exhibition.

If Earl Watson has any character, he would admit he's an abject failure as an NBA coach and walk away from the Suns job.

Somehow I doubt that he will leave the job of his own volition. I don't think he will ever go "save his family" like a certain former Suns coach.

Yes, but that's when you lose by 25. When you lose by 50 something is seriously wrong. Now, I think we can all agree on what it is, but I think it goes deeper than the coaching. This is a poorly constructed roster for the modern NBA even though McDonough has constructed a roster full of versatile "positionless" players. It doesn't work when all of them are tweeners that can't shoot. No shooting in the modern NBA means no wins in the modern NBA. And if you can't defend the 3 & the paint you're a cooked goose. We're bad at both.
Go Suns!

Jesus, that box score is ugly. Our former #4 and #8 picks combined for 1-10 shooting and 4 points. Our starting back court both shot under 33%. We had 10 assists as a team. Nash often had that alone at the half.

22 assists to 10...says it all.

Trade Bledsoe...it's time!
