Suns Coach 2018-19

Discussion of the league and of our favorite team.

So who do you want to see as a coach in 2018-19 (and beyond)?

Grass isn't always greener: Triano--What more could you ask with the group of guys we had this year and the development we have seen?

Not sure why people think he's a bad coach, yeah the LA thing was a mess, but he did win the division the year prior. I'm sure spending time in the Warriors org hasn't done anything but help him.
My dog Sammy can lead GS to a 10-0 playoff record. Doesn’t mean my dog will get interviews for head coaching positions anywhere.
Lmao
It is funny because everyone fell in love with Luke Walton after he took the helm for that ready made team.. Seems like a bit of a double standard.
Well, Walton didn't have any negative marks yet on his resume.

Sammy needs to hire the right agency or agent.
He’s young though. Needs to surround himself with some vets

Currently represented by Rich Paul of Klutch Sports. Probably explains why he hasn’t had any interviews.

Is Scott saying that McD said that Booker said he wants to stay? Or did Booker say that directly to Scott? Can't tell from that tweet.

Here's the only video I could find for today's exit interviews:

He’s talking about exit interviews, plural. I assume that means the McD comment came from McD’s interview and the Booker comment came from Booker's interview. That’s the impression I get from the tweet, anyway.

McDonough's goal is to have a coach in place prior to the lottery and combine (mid-May.)

Probably means we aren't stealing anyone from a playoff team.

Eh it’s possible for playoff coaches to get hired while the team is still in playoffs, that’s how guys like Luke Walton, Alvin Gentry etc got hired.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the plan is to have the new coach represent the Suns at the lottery.
