Yep, that's no coincidence. Not looking good. I can't imagine he plays game 3 or if he does, it will be in a limited capacity.
Chris Paul injured again. We've all seen this story before.

He's done for the season.

Bench gave us only 4 points. Starting PG injured. Stagnant offense with horrible ball movement. You can't win a playoff series like that.
I do think our role players will play better in Phoenix. But we need a new game plan. Also it must be said that Ayton played really good defense on Jokic.
Also fuck that crowd for chanting "Nugs in 4." I hope the guys remember that.

Ran out of gas, losing CP3 hurt. Book had to play pg the rest of the game and he didn’t take a rest. He was also defending Murray.

Well, at least we only have to wait three excruciating days until Game 3.

The bad: we lost CP3 (probably for the season), we lost game 2.
The good: Ayton gave us a good game, the defense adjusted well till the end of the 4th.
If KD played a good game, not a great, just an average to good game, we would've won.
I hope Monty , knowing Payne will have to play a lot, adjust the team to run more like we did in the bubble.

Mortgaged our future for this
Not exactly sure about this. Losing Mikal sucks but CamJ was having a pretty mild shooting season and Jones hasn't been all that great at drafting.
The weapons he acquired in Ross and Warren haven't even been used.
I think they'll get creative moving Ayron and figuring out something with CP.
Ishbia can afford to buy picks. OKC doesn't need 6 picks every draft.
Just my 2 cents

It's always fun to be leading through three quarters and then lose in the 4th.

Here’s the story of the game: KD fucking sucked. He was garbage. 10/27??? He got some bullshit buckets at the end but too little, too late, dawg. If he didn’t shoot like dog shit, we probably win this game.
All I heard about when we traded for KD, from twitter, from Reddit, and from Suns podcasters, was the absolute treat we gonna be in for watching KD play. The “basketball nirvana” we were gonna experience, how we weren’t ready to see such beautiful basketball.
It’s been 3 months I haven’t seen anything close to that shit. What a disappointment.
I still do that trade 10/10 times. I’m still not counting us out in this series, I still think we can come back to win. It just really disappointing not to see anything close to what was advertised outside of maybe the Mavs game. I get he was injured and we only played 8 games together but thats part of the problem, he’s always fucking hurt. What ever moves we make in the offseason, we need keep in mind to build a team that can withstand him missing 30 or games. It’s sucks but that’s the reality.
Waiting until Friday is going to be brutal but come Monday morning, I expect this series to be tied 2-2. Time to see this KD hype live up to expectations

What’s Ishbia thinking right now?
Hopefully about a strategy to get a high level starting PG in 2 months.
Hopefully he’s looking at James Jones transaction log and realizing that we’re dying because he missed on so many moves around the margins (though S****r not letting him use exceptions didn’t help).

Thing is, KD hasn’t looked in sync, but he was still averaging 29/9/5 on 54/44/96 shooting… .681 TS% before this game.

Suns can't go into next season with CP as the starting PG making $40M. It's just negligent. He's totally washed and can't be counted on to last through 2 months of playoff games. We went from the best PG rotation in the NBA 1.5 years ago to a bottom 5 one. Cam Payne fucking sucks. He can go too.

Alright I’m going to bed…I hope the suns surprise but I just can’t see them winning 4 of 5. Think we needed to get one in Denver. Got a long time to think about it…hopefully it gets CP3 ready, but I doubt it
