Yes, he had an excellent game tonight.

We won in spite of the bad FT shooting. Thunder weren't missing.

Although 4TO's is still to high, its easier to swallow 21,10,8 and 3 and the best # of all so far...8-10
+1

That was a nice quality win tonight. Let's see if we can build on that.

the points guard shoots 38 times, even though this team has added shooters and scorers and low post players.

He still doesnt rebound good enough to be a starting PF.
11 rebounds tonight, 9 the previous game. So that's good to see.
And 4th straight game of 5 of more turnovers.

Man, just watched the second half and OT. What a game. I will say that Russ missed a gimme that he probably makes literally every other time he goes for that shot. Just wasn't his night.
Bledsoe is such a weird player. Makes some jaw dropping athletic plays and then just fucks up the fundamental easy stuff sometimes. So weird. Someone on the radio recently said this is the first time he's ever played a full season as a starting PG and that they think he'll come back next season having cleaned up a lot of his mistakes.

I wish that were true.
Wish granted. You need to get over your Bledsoe hate. The whole game, nothing but negative things to say, despite the fact that he was kicking ass. At least your tune changed once the game was over.

I expect a track meet, no prediction on winner, but I expect the Suns to show up for this one and it to come down to the last 3mins of the 4th quarter.
We'll lose if Horny continues to stick with his vets. The kids are playing better. Give them a chance!
But we'll lose anyway. Let's be real people.

Nice call.

Maybe, just maybe, it took more than a game for guys to adjust and get comfortable with each other after the trades? Who knows...a couple practices, a couple games...this game could be a turning point for us. I certainly hope so.
Regarding Hornacek...I think he definitely feels obligated to play certain guys. I sincerely don't want to see Marcus Morris on the team next and if that means Markeiff goes too, so be it.

1) I have no hate for Eric. I love his athleticism, and his effort on the boards. I have pointed that out numerous times.
2) The "whole game" I was being negative towards Eric? Maybe you confused me with someone else.
3) I always give him credit when he earns it.
4) I do hate how careless he is with the ball, how his effort comes in fits and starts, and how for the most part he ignores our bigs down low. (That awesome pass to Len has me hoping this might change, but it will take more than once or twice a game for it to be meaningful.)

It's also on the coaches to point things out on tape. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. But even the Marcus shot someone described where he was double teamed, overdribbled, then took a step back 3 that missed...highlight that in the taperoom and call him out. Point out all the times Bledsoe leaves his feet to pass. Make them accountable.
Hornacek just doesn't seem like the disciplinarian that maybe a young, careless team needs. He's needs to crack down.

Brandon Knight playing 48 of a possible 53mins is pretty eye-poping. He was decent tonight (nice clutch shot after OKC had tied the game) but some of those mins should of went to Goodwin. Also I'd like to see PJ/Green/Marcus's 74mins combined be cut into by Warren.

BTW, and maybe I'm just nit picking, but the bench and the interaction between the guys has been noticeably better since the trade in terms of players cheering each other on.

Westbrook was 4-21 when guarded by Bled.
6-11 vs everyone else.
Still not sure why Hornecek switched Bled off of him at the end of the 4th and regulation...especially for a slower P.J.

Great win! The energy level from the start was great. Some poor execution a few times down the stretch but a win is a win against a good team.

Didn't he have 5 fouls at that point?

That's what I think we may be missing. I know it is not fun to do that, but it is the only way you get better. Peer pressure is a wonderful thing.
