This is exactly what you would say if Bledsoe was, in fact, a big part of your future. It's also exactly what you'd say if you were actively trying to trade him.

He's not that guy anymore, he's actually quite efficient. I think he'd thrive as a stretch 4, rebounds as well as Keef and is a better scorer/defender.
Agreed.

Suns get a meeting with LMA on July 1st. Right after the Spurs with their entire contingent of Pop, Duncan & Parker.

I don't understand how the Rockets can afford they guy. They are at $65Mil already for next season with Brewer's P.O.. Portland could possibly S&T him but I doubt it. Just Howard, Harden, and Ariza is $46M. They would need to dump virtually everyone else to get the $19Mil cap space. Defeinitely Papanikolao and probably Jones and Motie too.

You have to do your due diligence just in case something can be worked out (like a sign & trade).
Sure, it's not likely, but you have to be more thorough than everybody you're going against.

I actually think that's pretty good for the Suns to be in the conversation, even if we're a massive long shot. The other teams are either big markets (Lakers, Knicks) or teams considered likely to go deep into the playoffs.

I don't think Aldridge is necessarily looking for a big market or star power. Portland is the type of city he wants, San Antonio and even Toronto. The other thing that's big for him is having a legit 5 to play next to. His #s and play really improved when they brought in Lopez and he didn't have to play center. In SA, Duncan can play the 5. In Toronto, he's got a Lopez clone in Valanciunas. Could we sell him on Len? Long shot...

A frontcourt of LA, Duncan with Splitter coming of the bench would be scary...

Duncan doesn't have much left in the tank, though, does he? SA could be in a rebuilding mode in not to long.

Splitter would most likely have to be moved to make room for Aldridge's deal.
Duncan could go another 2 seasons, especially with Aldridge next to him.

I don't know, every time I think those guys are finally going to drop off, they just keep on going....
