The whole link doesn't show so the end of the link looks like ...eff-morris.
Indeed.
Also interesting that this guy explicitly says that Kieff doesn't get along with Hornacek.

I don't get the sense any of the players really love Hornacek, does anyone?
It's highly possible he won't be around next season so I would not make a trade based on that fact . MM will have more value later and has the potential to improve further. Don't trade him yet unless something great is there

I think the West shift will look really interesting this year. The Lakers are really signing everyone. I think it is a move to keep players away from the Cavs.

Oh, wow. Twitter is blowing up today with talk that DeAndre Jordan may be changing his mind about going to Dallas and may want to stay with the Clippers after all. Apparently the Clips are going to have a meeting with him today and are going to urge him to change his mind. One of several tweets about it:

Here's the thing. I don't see why DAJ would want to go to Dallas. It's honestly a worse team. Dirk is on his last legs, they have no PG to speak of, their other big FA signing has no Achilles, and their huge FA get last year (Chandler Parsons) is overrated and overpaid. I think that Mavs team is fool's gold and has a low ceiling and bad future.
By contrast, the Clips team DAJ was potentially leaving was really good. They needed more depth and some more shooting, but they'd just locked in Paul Pierce for some veteran savvy and swagger, which was a nice pickup. And Jordan is never going to get better looks and easier baskets than he got from Chris Paul feeding him roll passes and lobs. Plus he gets to live in LA and take advantage of all that location offers, while the Lakers are irrelevant and therefore the Clips are the marquee LA franchise.
Playing with CP3 and Blake in LA was a much smarter move for him if you ask me. If I were him I would back out of Dallas and re-sign with the Clips.

If DeAndre Jordan decides to stay with the Clippers, Dallas will tank this year. That was according to Mark Cuban, who thinks that the teams that tanked this past year are feeling the pressure to win or try to win this year. I'm kind of with Cuban, I think this is a good time for the Suns to lose big, but I'm not a big fan yet of the upcoming draft prospects. A few are very good, but not seeing any transcendent talents so far.

Simmons is excellent, a very good all around player with skills to do everything. Give me your scouting report on him and what position do you think he will ultimately play in the NBA?

I think he'll be a point forward who can rebound and defend right away, his shot needs work, but I dont think its bad. Great frame, could probably play around 245 pretty easily, I've seen McGrady comparisons for him, but from what I've seen, his game is more Lamar Odom.

Odom was the long time #1 player in his hs class, until McGrady came off the baseball diamond and a coach of his and promoter begged the all-star camp to give him an invite. At that camp he learned that Odom was the man, so he made it a point to take him on and then proceeded to eat his lunch. He came out of nowhere to make himself the undisputed #1 player in his class after everyone and their mother thought it was already wrapped up by Odom for years.
I don't see the Odom comparisons as much as the McGrady comparisons. He's not nearly as good of a shooter though, but might be a much better passer. How about a little bit of a cross between LeBron and McGrady? I'm kind of worried that he might be a bit of a tweener, and not have any particular elite skill.

It would be impossible for the Suns to tank that hard. They are just too good. They would have to unload talent for picks.
Bledsoe, Markieff, and Chandler would all have to go, just to start. Its just not going to happen and I am glad.
But if this happens, Dallas tanks, and the Clips have to sign DJordan, is there an opportunity somewhere in it for the Suns?
Does Tyson Chandler rethink his commitment in the light of LMA not signing here and DJ reneging on Dallas?

I agree, I don' t think it's going to happen, but it's nearly impossible for the Suns to get a transcendent talent without tanking at least one year. Picking #13 isn't the best place to pick talent from. That being said, I do think Devin Booker was a good pick, now time will tell how he develops.

Sonny Weems? Really? Interesting. A 6' 6" SF that can't shoot from range? And $3M a year? He hasn't even played in the league for 4 years.

Hit 37% from 3 in Euroleague last year, so not terrible. The thing that jumped out at me when I looked at his numbers were his assists - averaged 4 a game. Pretty good for a 3. Looks to be a team player.

What jumped out at me when looking at his Euroleague stats for the last 4 years was that he never started a game.
