Yeah, AD is too injury prone but it's still kind of tempting. When you can get one of the 5 best players in the league for just Ayton you have to consider it. For a little while anyway.
He's only one of the 5 best players in the league once ever 3-4 years.

And those days are over.

He has three years left on his current contract (2+1PO), so I think we'll see one All-NBA level season from him. There's been some talk of this coming season being a good one for him, but

when it comes to Klutch propaganda.
My guess is that it'll be the 2023-24 season when he shows up, and then he'll opt-out of his $43M player option right when the new CBA hits and somehow come away with a pay raise.

AD is on the Mt Rushmore of always injured superstars alongside Kawaii Leonard. Hard no for me without any hesitation.

AD had reasonable potential to be greatest PF ever. No joke. He has many of the same skills, physical attributes of KG, TD, and Giannis each. Had he the consistent work ethic of those guys he could have be better than all of them. Beast in the paint, on the boards, agile defender, good all around shot, good passer, and Gets to the line. He is just has a B minus mentality to reach his ceiling - keep body right, master Xs and Os. I’d only trade for him on a low risk deal but he might be at risk of becoming the next Cousins.
Once Giannis unlocks his jumpshot for good it’s over.

AD never really had the offensive hub game that a guy like KG and Giannis had(ve). Both those guys create(d) plays for their teammates at a much higher level.
I think AD has proven to be the B- version of KG.

Montrezl is interesting, I wouldn’t hate it if we signed him. Probably the best basketball player still available.

I like this Mutombo dude. Glad we hired him.

I think he brings an element that we’re missing but he’d have to be Ok with a reduced role.
Signing him would also pave the way for a Jae-for-a-ball handler type move.

I wonder if there would be something to a Crowder for Oladipo trade foundation. Feel like we’d need more as Crowder is more stable. But Oladipo could be a nice 3rd guard for us if he’s playing well.

He still plays? Last full season he played was 2017-2018. Crowder almost has more value than dipo at this point.

Health is a big risk, which is why I think Miami would need to include an asset. Doubt we could get a 1st, but something should be included.

Fun thread…I do think Cam may be the most likely to step up and be an actual 3rd option that can create on offense.

How awkward would it have been if Mikal had been traded before the Diamondbacks' Mikal Bridges Appreciation Day?

Oladipo is done. Might as well give The Gorilla a roster spot.

He might be, but I think he’s flashed some ability over the last couple years, just can’t stay healthy. Maybe Miami just completely missed on their evaluation, but they did give him a 2 year deal(player option) with decent salary.

He's played twelve games in the last two seasons combined. What are we even talking about?
Edit: I'm an idiot.

41 regular season and 15 playoff games actually
