My fault. I misread the table on basketball reference.

You’re good, I think he’s still super risky and even though I don’t think Crowder holds a ton of value, he holds more than Oladipo for sure.

Again, Royce MFing O’Neal, got the Jazz a first round pick and he’s inferior to Jae in every respect. If we want to move Jae and don’t value picks, there are other teams that will happily take one for one of their players (Clarkson? Eric Gordon?). We can put a 3-team deal together.

That still blows my mind. It’s crazier to me than the Rudy trade. Not only does Royce suck, but Brooklyn is a 1st rd needy team since they sent so many to Houston.

What did Brooklyn see in Royce? He can hit a 3 if he’s left alone, which I guess he will be often in Brooklyn, but he’s really only a 1 position defender as he’s too small to defend forwards and too slow to defend pg’s. And he does nothing on offense besides catch and shoot. All my jazz fans friends were ecstatic to see him go. They thought his defense was vastly overrated.

He's played twelve games in the last two seasons combined. What are we even talking about?
41 regular season and 15 playoff games actually
I’d pull it for a first + Dipo.

I need some Harrison Barnes. Send Jae and a few seconds.

I was also thinking about Crowder/Shamet to NY for Fournier and a 1st. Fournier is an upgrade as our 3rd guard and we get a 1st. Would need to go find another PF, but the added 1st would help. The Fournier contract is pretty steep, but I think he’d actually help us and I could see NY really valuing Jae.

I don't mind Harrell but would prefer they target Schröder. I think he'd be a great 3rd guard and offensive creator for us.

At first I remembered Harrell having some kind of trouble with the law. But then I just remembered it was for marijuana possession, not something actually bad.

Harrell's a good fit on paper and I've liked his game, but I think the arrest takes him off our radar. Don't think the coaches/FO like guys with off-court incidents (Holmes/Jackson). And I wonder if CP has some insight into Schroder where he's maybe not such a fan.

I don't give a damn about marijuana possession. Sign Montrezl and Schroeder and call it an offseason. Cut them if they end up being malcontents. Look for a midseason trade to upgrade if the opportunity is there.

I’m not sure Schroeder is much of an upgrade on Payne. Harrell is interesting to me…especially if we move Crowder.

If holding out for KD is the priority, then perhaps scooping them up is ideal. First half of the season I just wanna see Cam Johnson, Bridges, and Ayton carry the offense. This team has no reason to peak early and win every game with CP3 and Book taking over every 4th quarter.

I would'n't give up a 1st for Bojan, and our defense would drop off a ton without Crowder there. But I'd move Shamet for NAW and let Miami send out a 1st.

Utah - Herro, DRob, Shamet
Miami - Crowder, Clarkson
Phoenix - Bojan, NAW

I think Miami value Herro above that package by himself, to the degree of seeing themselves as the one asking for a 1st. The only reason to trade would be if those reports about Herro asking for a Max extension or leaving reach a breaking point.

Miami wants to unload Robinson's contract, but no way would they pay a first and Herro to do it if they're only getting two fringe starters in return.

Sorry, meant to swap Dipo for Herro. Trade still works numbers wise.

Why do people keep saying that? He put up 20/10 per-36 last year on a career high .680 TS%. He has his flaws but he’s not washed.
