regarding Stauskas and Harris, if you specified that question to the Suns, I would go with Harris. I think he would fit well with Dragic, whereas Stauskas duplicates a lot of what Dragic brings to the table. At the same time, I think Stauskas pairs well with Goodwin.

I think you got BPA but i feel pretty good about our guard situation going into next year with Bledsoe, Dragic and Goodwin. That's as solid a young backcourt as you'll find with youth, athleticism, length, scoring, slashing, defense. I'd be more inclined to keep those guys together with Goodwin off the bench until it gets to the point where he needs to start. Throw Green in there next year and you're two deep.

This - though I think Green will be trade fodder should a Kevin Love deal be reached.

Goodwin is the reason for my "no guards" stance concerning the draft - he needs and deserves more run.

I agree with this. I'd be fine with Stauskas or Harris TBH. I have Stauskas at the end of the lottery. I am pretty high on Gary Harris and have him as a top 10 pick. He isn't flashy, but he is such a solid 2 way player. Stauskas is probably the better offensive player right now.

I 'd take Anderson over Warren. I have T.J. Warren as a top 15 pick, but love Anderson's skill set Very Diaw-ish. If they were both there at 14, I'd take Anderson.

I don't think the Suns should shy away from guards just because at this time they have 3 big minute guards and 1 devolpmental.

Things can change in a hurry in the NBA and this isn't a team on the cusp of a ship. Bled is a RFA, Dragic becomes one next yr, Gerald Green could be traded next month and I wouldn't be surprised. You take BPA...If you look at the draft, it may be top heavy with BIG's in the top 10, but is filled with Guard/Wing prospects in the 11-21 range that I would have no problem taking despite the apparent log jam.

You'd have every right to be disappointed; no way either of those guys is best player available at 14. If the Suns stay at 14 and 18, I would expect McDonough to draft Young and Jerami Grant at those spots.

I'd be careful assuming Young has a higher ceiling than Hood just because he's younger. I think Hood is quickly becoming underrated after initially being slightly overrated.

I haven't been high on him at all, but even I have to admit he looked good.

I don't think it's a question of skill. It's been about consistency and him seemingly turning it on when he knows people are watching or dogging it when unhappy. Something just seems off with him.

He's probably too aware of himself, but things like that usually are a matter of age and being humbled down by better players. The real question is if he'll be able to take advantage of his significant skillset, considering how slow he seems.

I don't know if he can be a quality shooter. I don't know if he can finish at and around the rim at the NBA level. I don't know if he can rebound significantly at the NBA level. I don't know if he can fit at the 3 or 4. I think all of those are concerns before you even factor in any attitude issues.

Say Alphebets,Carter-Williams,Oladpio and we'll throw in Nerlens Noel while we're at it are in this draft.

Knowing what you know now about them and not know about the other prospects where are you taking them? Top 10? late lottery? late 1st?

MCW, Antetokounmpo and probably Dipo too would make the top10 along with Parker-Embiid-Wiggins-Exum-Vonleh-Randle-Smart. I don't think they'd be selected before the holly three but I could see MCW and the Freak top6.

Noels was still injuried so if he went #6 last year I don't think he'd sniff top10 now.

Knowing what we know now, Alphabets would be a high lottery pick, Carter-Williams, Oladipo and Noel(if he tested out as healthy) would be lottery picks. IMO
