I noticed this during the Kings game as well. There were so many lob opportunities to the backdoor cutter when all the action is going on up front but the PG or ball handler never saw it even despite good cutting by the backdoor player.
I can’t wait to see what the offense will look like with a competent PG running it.

You may have to wait for quite a long time. Over a year, I’m guessing, because it looks like we’re going into the season without a really competent PG on the roster.

It's a numbers game for him which is unfortunate. I knew last year would be lost with the knee injury but maybe they see something (or don't) that made them want Bridges to develop instead. I think Reed's a real player though.
This is silly. There is no reason to let Reed go. He isn't making any real money. Just keep him, for crying out loud. Dudley, Daniels, and Ariza (hopefully) are gone after this year, and Warren/Jackson might have to be included in a trade. Just keep Reed at the end of the bench. His time will come.
Ya, we are at 15 with Reed and Harrison, we don't have minutes to give without trading anyone and their really aren't any FA pg's worth pursuing anyways. I see zero reason to cut Reed.

Totally agree!
Same here.

I would rather cut an old guy loose a year early than cut a young player with some potential.

I think he was assuming the Suns would get a real PG at some point and from all indications it will probably be next year. She we get another year of the revolving PG.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.
Gambo said that Reed doesn't have much of a shot at making the team. I think it would be a shame to waive him after he's been the clear 2nd best player on the Summer League squad (imho.)

He will get picked up somewhere else. The guy can shoot, we would be stupid to release him.
Can we sign Reed to a 2-way contract and stash him in the G-League?
Doesn't he already have an NBA contract though? I'm not sure how any of this stuff actually works.
Not if we waive him before the guarantee date and he clears waivers. Then he is an unrestricted free agent.
At a salary of less than $1.4M, what are the odds he’d clear waivers? Would a team even need cap room to claim him off waivers?
