Yea I was going to post about that in a different thread. I like what Tyler can bring, it's just his 20mil this year is a killer. Let him opt out and we'll re-sign him for like 24mil over 3 years or 10 over 2 years.

I think he would need more than 4 extra million spread out over 3 years to opt out. And there is no benefit to him to opt out of 20 this year for 10 and 10.

He has no incentive to opt out for that though. It would need to be like 3/33 or something in that range where after what is essentially the 1/19 it would be like 2 more years at $7M/yr.

Yep. Or maybe even increasing to give us flexibility this year if we really wanted to go after someone (not D'Lo please!). 7/10/15 or something...

Sources: Chris Paul wants out as relationship with James Harden deemed ‘unsalvageable’

Paul went to Rockets management and demanded a trade, and Harden issued a “him or me” edict following the Rockets’ second-round loss to the Golden State Warriors, sources said.

The backcourt mates went nearly two months without speaking to each other during the season, sources said, creating a tenuous environment for teammates and everyone involved with the franchise.

I always knew those insurance commercials were horse shit.

If I were Minnesota, I'd be on the phone right now trying to get Houston to take Wiggins and Dieng for Paul.

When is the last time Paul was on a team and liked by his teammates for more than a season?

Where does Horford go? He’s kinda the Jrue Holiday of the front court, great fit just about everywhere as he can play both front court positions offensively and defensively.

I am curious how much he wants for a 4 year deal.

Al Horford would be incredible for this team, or basically any team for that matter.

I think it's more likely he signs with a contender.

Wow. Tatum better get ready to face serious pressure when he has the ball now.

Does IT go back to Boston? That would be something.

Dallas? He’d be great there with Doncic and KP

Could see Sacramento go hard after him to pair with Bagley.

Pacers have money.

Can clippers sign him and Kawhi?

He’d be really nice on the Lakers too, but they’d need money to sign guards.

Jazz? Nice replacement for Favors that can play alongside Gobert better and still back him up at the 5. Nice 2 man game partner for Mitchell.

He really fits anywhere.

I don't remember OKC teammates not liking him outside of Westbrook who feels that way about everyone. Haven't heard anything in Houston either.

If he has the same stats last year, but was on the Suns, he would have been:
#1 in blocks/game
#2 in RPG
#2 in APG
#3 in 3P%

Yep, with Barnes opting out, they have quite a bit of space as well. Fox/Hield/SF/Bagley/Horford is real nice

Horford just did Boston a huge favor. So is Kyrie.
