It's not tampering but it sure feels like it. Maybe we can get some recently retired Suns players to recruit for us? Channing Frye? Barbosa? PAT BURKE???

He can be better than the next number 1 pick, he can be the next Pat Burke !!
There is a possibility. I'm hoping that during negotiations, Sarver got a better offer to his asking price and is in secret negotiations with a much richer potential owner. But, that seems like wishful thinking.
Let's be careful what we wish for. I would have been leary of a Utah native buying the Suns. I guess there's no fear of two teams in Utah though.
True. I don't think he would have move the Suns to Utah, but you would worry that a Jazz fan would try to ruin the Suns.
No one is going to spend nearly 2 billion dollars to ruin 1 rival of your favorite team that hasn’t even been relevant for a decade.
You sound just like the unimaginative stick-in-the-mud execs when I pitched them my screenplay for Celtic Pride 2. They totally blew it, it would have been a blockbuster.

LOL, I wish I could have seen it.

Wowwwwww, Mike D and Amare assisting under Steve Nash? Is the world upside-down?

If you really think about it, wasn't Nash the de-facto coach during the 7SoL era? I highly doubt D'Antoni pulled rank on him for anything related to the gameplan at that time.

I would think a 60-65 game season would be do-able with an MLK start. Also saw someone in The Athletic propose a staggered start/schedule since non-bubble teams haven't played since March while teams like the Lakers, Heat, Celtics, Nuggets, etc played just this month. Interesting concept if it could work, otherwise I think you'll see a lot of guys who had deep playoff runs (LeBron, Kawhi, PG) looking for manage minutes/games in a condensed season.

I think they could develop a "division series" approach where teams play in the same area for a week and knock out 3-4 games. Like the Suns could go to LA and get in 4 games (all of the away games for LAC and LAL), and go up to the Bay and play GSW and SAC for those 4 games.
Or make it more heavily weighted in the division and play everyone in your division 5 times (total of 20 games) and spread out the remaining games equally for all other teams (East and West). That gives you a 70 game season playing every team outside your division twice.
