Yea I'll take it with a grain of salt for now but am definitely excited reading it. It'd be great if he stuck around and took less to stay in a good situation.
The 2021 Suns Offseason
Re: The 2021 Suns Offseason
Didn't we predict this during the playoffs?
Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul is expected to be ready for the start of training camp next season after having left wrist surgery, a source told ESPN's The Undefeated on Monday.
Paul had the wrist surgery recently after the NBA Finals, the source said. The 36-year-old was seen wearing tape on his left wrist during the 2020 NBA Finals.

6.3 per is a fantastic bit of business by both Payne and the Suns. Cam is set for life and is also paying back the team that gave him that chance to resurrect his career. Win win for both of us.
Creates a bit of unexpected space for the roster improvement as well.
Let’s hope Paul’s is as nice and surprising.

Sorry to see him go but that should be a good fit for him.

4 years is interesting…hopefully it declines. Wouldn’t be surprised if last year isn’t fully guaranteed.

I'll miss Tory Craig - he was one of those hi-motor guys you need.
But best of luck to him in Indiana, he should get plenty of opportunity to play there as Warren's backup!

Good for TC. He was really good for us.
I think we'll regret the last couple years of Paul's deal but it probably ensures Book is here for 4 more years.
Payne got a little bit more than what Carter was getting iirc so not bad at all.
Javale doesn't really do a lot for us but we're limited in what we can offer if we're not using the full MLE.

Contract looks even better
Re: The 2021 Suns Offseason
If we're not using the full MLE, then Sarver is not committed to winning a championship.

Re: The 2021 Suns Offseason
No reason not to use the MLE, we can use it and not hit the luxury tax. Javale seems like a candidate for the BAE though. That’s like a 2 year 7.6 million deal.
Then go get a 4 that can play small ball 5 with the MLE…not sure who that would be at this point though…Batum is the one who comes to mind. I’ll add Millsap, he’s not a bad option.
