I am out for a while...this is just how it feels to be a Suns fan. See ya folks.
A place for fans of the Phoenix Suns

And still bad enough to carry his ragtag team to a WCF. Wait until he comes in in shape.djy2j wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 7:13 pmFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 7:10 pmCom'on man. We've just spent two seasons rooting for Chris Paul.![]()
I hear ya. Chris has always been an irritant BUT he plays hard on both ends. Luka don't do shit for defense. He's one of the laziest players I've ever seen down there.
Hey man, it's over. What's the point of crying over spilled milk? It's just basketball, and even more so, none of us have anything to do with which team wins or loses.Charlie Smithy! wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 7:13 pmI'm not sure if you're helping right nowFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 7:10 pmCom'on man. I wish I could give this two 'hearts'. The writing was on the wall and we were all waiting for the 'switch' than never flipped. The Bobster wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 7:15 pmIn 13 playoff games they probably had 5 or 6 where they just came out an didn't give a good effort.
And that's a leadership problem on the court AND on the bench.
The emoji was for effect as well as an exaggeration of my feelings. I've dodged cancer; I get it.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 7:15 pmHey man, it's over. I don't think that CP3 can make it through a postseason without getting hurt. In that sense, the team cannot win a title. Time to blow it up and I would start with getting as much value for CP3 as possible. Rebuild around Booker, Ayton, and Mikal.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 7:22 pmThe thing is, this loss is so big, so devastating, such an absolute and total disaster, that I think it could cause us to make bad decisions this offseason. Do you blow up a team because they blow one huge game? Do you keep them together and tweak the team around the edges, hoping they learn from their tough loss?
I get the panic and the desire to trade Paul, don't max Ayton, trade the Cams, etc. But I don't think blowing it up is the right move. I would favor mostly keeping this team together and letting them soak in this loss and let it fuel them to come back better next year. Hopefully next year we will have Saric back for big man depth and can make 1-2 key signings to help us out. And hopefully we learn to use the pieces we have more effectively.
I am not ready to give up on this team.

What are you talking about? Wainright played 5 amazing minutes!
It was not one game. They showed signs of this against the pelicans. And it finally got to then against the mavs.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 7:22 pmThe thing is, this loss is so big, so devastating, such an absolute and total disaster, that I think it could cause us to make bad decisions this offseason. Exactly. These last two years showed me everything I needed to see about Chris Paul.virtual9mm wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 7:26 pmI don't think that CP3 can make it through a postseason without getting hurt. Casper showed up this series. Deandre was in the Bahamas alreadydjy2j wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 7:35 pmAyton sign and trade is inevitable. There's no way anyone in the Suns franchise values him as a max player after this playoff run. It's ok. The 29 other teams arent caught up in the emotion of losing so He still has high trade value.
Maybe he figures out how to be DominAyton somewhere else but it clearly isn't going to happen in Phx with this current core.
Not bashing Ayton but the guy who is wanting a max contract didn't step up when he was needed that's all.
