Defensive rebound rate is the best stat to look at. Not RPG.

(Offensive rebound rate, and therefore total rebound rate, may be scheme-dependent)

Nurk at his worst is still a double double big
Except for that pesky little fact that he’s only been a double-double big in 3 of his 9 seasons (including an 8-game season for one of those 3!).
I know you're a DA guy but come on. He had 3 seasons of 9 rebounds once he got to Portland and started. His first 3 years he was splitting time with Jokic in Denver. DA's had seasons of 10.3, 10.2 and 10 rebounds. Stop splitting hairs. In fact, his per 36 numbers are right in line with DAs, and in some cases (rebounds) better.
I am certain if it was DA you wouldn't call 9 rebounds a double-double.

He’ll honestly probably get more of a chance in Portland

One thing that's overlooked is that we now have three mid sized contracts from this trade that we can move via salary match trades later. We didn't have any of that flexibility before. It was max deals and minimums.

Yep…With Allen, Little, and 1 other minimum deal we can basically trade for anyone under 20 million.

We also have a new 6.6 million TPE

4D chess. It's not just a straight value for value player trade. It's a package that gives us flexibility with usable depth.

We wanted to break up the contract and we did. Hadn't realized Allen was a FA at the end of the year.

They got a nerd of nerds in the FO making all these things possible.

From what I saw the TPE is only $1.1M. That's basically useless.

I think Grayson Allen might be better than I had realized.

He’s coming off a season where he started and played real rotational minutes (27+ per game) for the team with the best record in the NBA. He’s a 50% 2-pt, 40% 3-pt, 90% free throw shooter, albeit on low volume other than 3-pt shots; he already knows how to be an efficient scorer within a system that’s built around superstars. He seems to be able to play credible defense in a limited role. Sure, he has a rep as a dirty player and an irritant, but that’s not the only thing he has going, unlike some guys with that tag.

I think, if he sticks around, that Gordon/Allen off the bench can be a very good second-unit backcourt, especially if they ration some of the big-three minutes so there’s always a primary creator availabile on the court. And when, inevitably, Book/Beal miss some time I think either of those guys can step in and keep things flowing.

My best friend sent me the trade and didn't even comment on Ayton but lots of emojis about Grayson cause he knows how I feel about dude

I also have to admit that I spent most of last season n playoffs wanting to make fun or discredit him if I peeped a Bucks game but he always seemed to be doing a solid job and I would be annoyed when he scored lol

Oh well, we'll see how it goes

We got two TPE…one is 1.1, but the other is 6.6.

Allen’s $9M comes off the books next summer, so it turns out that it is another money-saving move by Ishbia.

It's fucking hilarious. If it's not Ayton or an old potato it sucks.

Jeremy was in Denial most of the summer. Anger might take a while to get past, too.
