I see Winslow as more of a Jimmy Butler, but that is not bad either. I would not at all be disappointed if they targeted him in this draft. He has the smarts, skills, and work ethic that would be good for team atmosphere.
I am not sure they would have to go as high as the Knick pick to get him. If it was Bledsoe for the pick and did not include the #13 pick, it would not be so bad.

We'd probably take Porzingis at 4 if available anyway.. There will be no Justise in Phoenix.

So whats your take on Hezonja. The evaluations videos are interesting, but the kid only played like 15 minutes a game, and scored maybe 6 a game. For a player with such hype, you would think he would have gotten a little more pt, even if it a European team.

Right. It's hard to tell really. When I watch video of the kid I immediately think "star potential" but if that were the case, why didn't he play more? Well, it could be the same as why Rubio didn't play more over there. They are young and in Europe they play based on seniority a lot more than over here.

Suns would consider trading out of the draft:

"As a non-playoff team, I think you need help everywhere," McDonough said. "So we'll take the best player, even if that goes against what some people think we should do in terms of conventional wisdom. I think, unless you're a championship-level team, you always take the best available player."

I would prefer a high bballiq pass first pg for this team and build around the other players and how they move the ball around. As much as they have been moderately successful with the two pg system and lineup, I think it will be the Suns downfall if they continue to try to force it.

"Loved" this throw-in dig:
Let's say the Suns lose two or three of those younguns in the next 12 months, either through trade... or prison sentences. Wouldn't it be nice to slot in a cheap replacement from this year's draft?

It only worked because Dragic was one of the PGs. You need two versatile and willing passers to make it work. Bledsoe is willing but couldn't pass his way out of a paper bag. His passes go to the opposing team just as much as his own team.

I can't say that I disagree at all with what you are saying.

That's unfair. He has 1300 assists and 800 TOs. If you assume the receiving player shoots half the time, and they make half their shots, it is more like 1:6.

I was doing a thing called exaggeration. You win the accuracy award.

Nash is a wing with less range than Archie, pass.
