And both of their big price tag FAs have struggled.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 7:46 pmI'm not sure of the benefit of that move for the Hawks. Maybe he's lost the locker room, but there are a lot of young guys and fresh FA's on that roster.
One of my least favorite basketball players ever. Nothing more than a chucker.
It is amazing how similar these stats are.

Wow, that is stunning. I don't think of them as similar players, but there it is in the stats. I'd still much rather have Booker, though.Indy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 9:47 pmIt is amazing how similar these stats are.Code: Select all

To be fair his past 4 or 5 years are post prime years, most guys don't look rosy in that part of their careers.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:58 amWow, that is stunning. And I'm curious what Melo's stats would look like for just the past 4-5 years; probably not so rosy.
RIght? Dude was a hooper, could score on you pretty anywhere on the floor.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 10:24 pmCarmelo Anthony had his flaws as a star player, but a "chucker" wasn't really one of them. At least not very often.
Yeah, Carmelo is almost a year older than Chris Paul, and about 18 months younger than... Well said. What I wonder in the what-if scenario is how Carmelo would have fared in today's NBA if he's 25 now instead of 36. If he is clearly defined as your four who can go into the post or iso, he might be an even more potent scorer than he was in those Denver/New York days. People probably pick on his lack of rebounding less, and he is probably more likely to rack up assists.Oatmeal wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 3:27 pmTo be fair his past 4 or 5 years are post prime years, most guys don't look rosy in that part of their careers.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 10:58 amWow, that is stunning.
