I don’t like this at all for Sacramento…I’ll withhold judgement to see if they do anything else, but I would have kept Haliburton. Fox/Sabonis/Holmes is kind of a mess spacing wise and not great defensively.

I know he's injured right now, but could Brogdon be available for cheap?

Kings chose Fox ?
Pacers had leverage to demand Haliburton ? I don't think so
Well that's interesting

I liked the Thad stuff in say November....
But where does he fit in now rotation wise in this hypothetical

Sacramento is such a mess. I would have tried my best to keep Haliburton and Mitchell; those are the two that I think have the most potential to be built around.

Phewwww, we dodged a bullet with Sabonis. Trading Ayton for him would have been a huge mistake IMO. Glad we showed some restraint. Still room to make a minor move like Gordon or a Thad Young buyout. I'm at the point where I wouldn't want to give up any asset for Thad. Let the Spurs release him and we'll pick him up cheap.

He takes the Smith/Wainright minutes…also might steal some Crowder or McGee minutes in certain situations.

Ya I agree, Mitchell/Haliburton/Sabonis is something. Move Barnes and Holmes for some 3&D Wings and you’ve got the start of something…

He can't be traded til off-season just like Landry Shamet. I'd do a Brogdon Shamet trade but that's it. Shamet has a horrible reputation here in Indy for being soft and fans have had it with him because of it. He's fallen off big time since being on the Pacers.

I can't believe Haliburton was traded. I get wanting to move Hield's money but Hali should've been part of a future backcourt. Kangz going all in on a Fox and Sabonis combo?

I keep going back to that vid during Bagley's rookie year, where the coaches were talking to him on the bench in a game in Phoenix saying, "Aren't you glad you didn't get drafted by this shit show?"

Wasn't there talk at draft time about Haliburton working to make sure he was drafted by Sac as his favorite around where he was supposed to be taken?
